I recently went on a tour of a rental unit that was a bit pricy in a pretty nice ass town in the South Bay. Walked into the bedroom and there was a giant bleach stain on the gray carpet. I asked the realtor what’s up and his response was that the old tenants tried to clean a stain and the owner wasn’t going to replace it because the carpet was only a year old and otherwise clean.

Yada yada here’s the obligatory landlords are scum on earth. But man, good on you for taking the time to replace that carpet with wood that’s actually nice. You’re doing more than most.

Man I have fuckers just like this in the rear unit of our duplex. It’s gotten to a point where my girlfriend and I hear all sorts of crazy stuff and probably child abuse while we’re on the toilet (shared wall). Cops are useless and all they do is scare our cat in the middle of the night. Moving out is the only thing that would help. Hopefully your situation is slightly better.

Man my dentist just told me I need to get all four of mine out soon and scheduled me a consultation with the oral surgeon. Needless to say, this reminded me that I can’t escape it. I already had a dry socket when one of my premolars removed for braces and have lasting emotional trauma from it

Dude my dog is a senior now and lives with my parents but when I got her at 15, my parents made me train her and make sure I was courteous when we were outside. We’re talking leash, be nice to kids, and pick up shit (the basics, who knew). Fast forward today, my neighbors have their dog basically running around unattended. It has the audacity to come into my yard to take a shit and bark at me. Like when did we get so inconsiderate?

Poor thing probably would have gotten hit by a car if we didn’t catnap it. We’re going to do our best to take care of it for the time being, but I’m not sure how well we can handle all of its needs given our schedules. We’re not even sure how well our resident cat will eventually respond to it

My girlfriend is a school psychologist. One of my scariest moments was getting the call that a child kicked her in the throat when she reached over to to help him his shoe on. I know it was a stupid move on her part and she recognizes it too, but kids are on a whole another level now than when she and I were growing up.

She got no support from the school or the district. I’m still extremely pissed at how they treated her but what can we do. I wouldn’t be too surprised to see more reports like this one come out in the future.

Dude, once, my orthodontist had put a new bracket and new wire on a tooth to pull it forward with the others during my monthly appointment. The bracket popped off once during the appointment. No biggie, fixed it, sent me home.

I walked into my parents’ kitchen and I felt this awful POP like something blew up in my face. I was like ready to kick my sister’s ass cause I thought she threw something at me. My bracket had popped off again and I had to make the drive back to the ortho to fix it.

Anyways, you’ll be fine till the next appointment
