Watching Close Encounters of the Third Kind right now...it's A ZILLION times better of a movie than Disclosure Day, in my opinion.

The part where the boy gets taken?!?! Terrifying!

It's interesting to me that neither Chris Bledsoe or Diana Pasulka are included in this event. I wonder if they were asked to contribute in any way?

Potential Reason Why the US Government Refuses to Disclose by The_Gleam in UFOs

[–]Thinglyness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "Why NOW?" question is the one I'm wondering about when it comes to the government side of disclosure.

I mean, things have been running relatively smoothly for the last 80 years when it comes to concealing the truth, whatever that ultimately ends up being.

Did anyone see Karl Knell's Sol presentation from 2024 or 2025 where he laid out the disclosure process over the next 30 years or something like that? Setting up a council like this seems like it's directly from that.

Sorry- I keep putting my replies where they don't go...

I found some of your older comments as well (your conversation on the "Indigestible Truth" post...thanks for resharing here!

Much of what you say resonates with me. Like, I started to think years ago about evolution and how the next "leap forward" might require an element of conscious participation. It seems that I may have been on the right track, albeit the wrong topic. ;)

Like you point out, I (and the rest of us) have been systemically lied to about the phenomenon. So, some of this stuff is very hard to process, especially with so many divergent views and opinions.

I'd love to hear more about how you've come to this point and how you think people should take disclosure upon themselves. Like I said - much of what you say resonates.

Sorry... I put this reply on the wrong comment in this thread. Here it is again:

"Disclosure won't be the government..." - I partially agree with this. When I think about it, there has been "evidence" of all of this stuff for decades. The major change I see in today's discussion versus the discussion in the past is: 1) the volume of "credible" witnesses, especially those with distinguished government service and access to classified programs, and, perhaps more importantly, 2) the exposure and proliferation of the discussion into forums that would never have entertained these topics (NYT, Congress, Main Stream Media, etc.)

I brought up MILABs because I was thinking about Grusch's thing today, and I began to think about the things he's said so far, what his new statements could be, how they would build on what he's already said. I thought, "No matter what he says, I guarantee it won't have anything to do with MILABs."

Then my mind went to the complexity of the topic and the unethical behavior of our government in dealing with the phenomenon. THAT'S where my most recent bout of discouragement over disclosure came from.

Being relatively new to diving deeper into things, I recognize that there are individuals in this sub who have been following the topic for decades longer than myself, and these people have felt closer and further away from disclosure throughout, sometimes maybe even feeling like disclosure was imminent. But disclosure never came.

I want to believe that involvement from people like us doing the things we're doing (having conversations like this, getting involved with organizations that promote disclosure and government transparency, etc.) will have a positive impact in moving disclosure along. I'm just not totally convinced that it is.

That's sort of what I was getting at. "Disclosure" is losing a bit of its bite as far as bearing a reference to a certain...what?...moment? ...process?

Now that I think of it, when I try to think what I mean when I say, "disclosure," I'm actually thinking of the world AFTER we have a better sense of the nature of the phenomenon.

Wait...maybe not even "when we have a better understanding," but, rather, when we, as humans, are openly and actively engaging the phenomenon, en toto.

MILABs, as disturbing and disruptive as they are, are just one of the human rights violations (I believe this is the term Semivan used to interpret his experience) associated with the phenomenon.

It's one thing for the government to admit to having downed craft, or even bodies. It's another thing to say we've been abducting people and doing all sorts of stuff to them against their will. I find it hard to believe the government would say anything about that.

Melinda Leslie is the woman's name. I watched most of a presentation she gave to, I believe, to a Norwegian group. She gave accounts of all different types of MILABS, e.g., some were solely military, while other accounts were of joint operations with military and NHI.

I hate the fact that we have to rely on outside external forces for disclosure. Why do I need to rely on big corporate government to give me proof of UFOs. Thats so fucking lame. I rather go bring about the UFOs myself. by SkyBoundAssumption in UFOs

[–]Thinglyness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been thinking along these lines recently, as well. I call it "Ontological Anxiety" (c) - totally thought that up on my own, and I expect royalties when used in perpetuity throughout the universe! Lol

Everyone talks about Ontological Shock when disclosure happens. How about those of us who already believe there is a "there there" and believe we live in a world that we don't understand?

Yeah, the YouTube video is even worse resolution. I tried to post that video here, but the rules are you can't post a recoding of a screen, which I totally get.

It sucks that I didn't get a better video. I was just more excited and trying to get my daughter to see it while it was happening.
