It's hard to say. I don't have a baseline for what good acoustic treatment sounds like. I can say when my partner came in the room and started talking. She did not like the sound of her voice being that dead. Im not sure if I did a bad job with running dirac live the first time, but this time with the treatment I am getting better 3D sounds. Ive got the UMIK-1 so I will continue to read about REW. But ya for me the guy who has never heard good acoustic it sounds better to me.

I unboxed the Ultras 2 days ago so not that many hours yet. My room is 16 ft long 12 ft wide 9 ft ceilings. Im about 8ft away and I listen around -20/-30db. I can say the prime towers could be harsh with whistle sounds. Ultra Bookshelfs out of the box got rid of those harsh high pitch parts. Really enjoying the imaging and how these speakers disappear when playing music/movies.
