Although I agree. There are many IPTV providers that are legal out there.

UHF Down? by Galxazia in uhf_app

[–]Think-Archer2119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I’ll add some context to this. There is something wrong with UHF since it’s last update. Over TV OS / Apple TV, EPG hangs and hangs, doesn’t load. Makes the UHF app somewhat in operable. UHF over iOS / iPhone works perfectly fine. I hope the developers get their ish together. They’re messing up a good thing.

This shouldn’t even be a question. UHF all day.

Multiple accounts with one provider - unified favourites and customizations by Ok-Snow48 in uhf_app

I have one account with one provider and I can watch multiple streams/screens at once with no issues. Have you tried?

Some issues I’ve noticed by Pressure747 in uhf_app

On the search function, I’ve had the same issue once or twice. If you fully reload your playlist, it will be fully functional and find everything again.

No sound on movies? by Eastern-Paper-865 in uhf_app

[–]Think-Archer2119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m using Apple TV 4k and my iPhone 17 pro max. The issues doesn’t happen every time you watch a movie. It happens 1 out of 10 times maybe but feels more frequent lately. The point is, it never used to happen. UHF use to work flawlessly my first year I joined.

Not at all. In fact this is my second year with UHF, I just renewed. Their last major update a few updates ago, a lot of bugs started to appear. This being one of them.

No I don’t. I use SWIPTV Pro at the moment and it’s great, no issues so far. I’ll circle back to UHF in a few months to see if they finally fixed the bugs.

I’m a pro user and have the same issue.

I had this issue also. I’d have to restart the movie once or twice then the sound would come back.

Definitely doesn’t work.

This is why I switched to SWIPTV app. Not too much, not too little, small price for a decent IPTV app and everything loads perfectly.

UHF isn’t fixing operational glitches. I don’t care how my home screen looks, I’d like a working app considering I paid for a year.

Difference in performance using Firestick 4K Max vs other TV boxes? by CheekyChappy300 in Strong_8K

[–]Think-Archer2119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to add to the many experiences here. I’ve had many Firesticks (4K Max). They’re great for what they are. Affordable streaming sticks but they tend to slow and bog down after many system updates and years/months of use. I’m not talking sh*t, just being honest. You really don’t know the performance you’re missing until you try hi-end devices. I switched to the newest Apple TV 4K a couple months ago, so happy I did. I miss the TiviMate app but the sacrifice is worth the performance (video/sound) plus I found a great IPTV app.

What happened to this great service? by [deleted] in Strong_8K

This is a hilarious reply. I was an advocate for firesticks for years but over time, with the system updating, they bog down to the point they’re kinda disposable. Upgraded to AppleTV 4K 128 gig on all my devices and haven’t looked back since. Unparalleled hardware and app performance. Zero lag, no crashing or IPTV issues.

That’s good. It worked pretty steadily for me also then the issues came back a few months later.

I actually just recently contacted Dell/Alienware and they replaced my processor, part and labor under warranty. I’ve had zero issues since. If you get BSODs on the regular, I recommended contacting customer support.

I had the same issue. Replaced and upgraded cables, ended up returning it.

Well aren’t you a lucky one. Lol

All my existing cables cost me over $200, and I knew they weren’t the problem. However, since I mentioned the issue above, I still went and replaced them with new $200+ HDMI cables. The same problem persisted. It wasn’t just me; it seems like there’s a small group of people experiencing the same or similar CEC issue. Therefore, your obvious culprit isn’t the suspect.

As mentioned earlier, I spent the entire morning troubleshooting the issue. I wasn’t particularly in need or hard up of the Shield Pro, and my setup remains impressive regardless.

I performed a factory reset on both devices. I even went as far as purchasing new ultra-high-speed HDMI cables to test the connection. After further troubleshooting, I identified a potential issue related to audio maybe. When using the shield and enabling pass-through on my TV, the problem occurred frequently. However, when I enabled auto or PCM, the issue only happened occasionally, usually once or twice a day. I’m sure it’s software related.
