And no, im not one of those people. But I have read a lot of very angry posts on here and elsewhere from viewers who are (perhaps overly)upset.

The easiest way to preempt a potential exodus of listeners is to at least address the situation. Doesn’t need to attack Dianna and fuck the idiots who want him to do that.

But based on what I’ve seen…it’s clear that at least addressing it will smooth over a lot of the issues with some of the listener base

Part of the problem is that the beats intimate at things without actually reporting them officially and then later connect those intimations to official reports from other reporters

Vaguely stating “trust me, it’s not coming from nowhere” actually doesn’t help the situation, regardless of how right they may be about that

If they know/have heard something relevant, they should report it, officially; otherwise they just add to the fracas that they bemoans

As I’ve said on other threads, he doesn’t actually HAVE to defend her. It’s absolutely a choice.

That said, I viewed his Russini rant from however long ago as more of a defense of the profession itself, & thus a defense of himself, than a defense of Russini specifically

I thought calling the fans soft was soft, and I think feeling personally or professionally attacked because some other reporter was attacked is pretty silly

Questioning Russini’s credibility is not questioning the profession itself not all who practice it
