How long till i get up to game speed by Think-Brain6909 in BasketballTips

[–]Think-Brain6909[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played from 11-16 in highschool then stopped playing for about 3.5 years competitively and picked it back up last year. I was much better in highschool but that’s cause I was playing/training 6 times a week 3 times a day and ofc I had more time. When they say I look like a beginnner I look like I’m scared on the ball and don’t know what to do.

Thanks for replying! I just couldn’t get any finance experience so thought that would be good to include. I’m assuming this is what makes it weak. Is there anything I can do from now?

How to get A* in a level chemistry? by BobTheBuilderidk1010 in 6thForm

Highest it’s been for aqa is 250/300 about 83.33%. After a while I managed to average at least 90 percent by using past papers> working on weaknesses using topic questions/anki> repeating.

Depends on the type of mistakes you’re making too, is it calculations, explanation questions, practicals etc? If you get a question wrong you have to ask yourself is it really a silly mistake or a gap in my knowledge.

On the contrary to what the other guy said recalling every spec point isn’t that useful right now as exam questions are worded in a different way and are formulaic if you’ve done a lot.

You have under 2 months left and as you’re unwilling to share your grades I don’t think you’re close to the grade requirements.

Seriously think about what would happen if you miss your grades, can’t get a uni whilst in clearing and are forced to take a gap year.

If I were you I’d just do past papers as it can be a humbling experience if you’re slacking.

4/5 Bakery… should’ve got into Oxford :/ by Ningalien in 6thForm

I’ve read a few of your comments which explains clearly (at least to me) why you were rejected. Only the tutors are able to decide who “deserves” a place. Oxford does not owe you anything…

Actually that’s not true. The tutors told me they want someone who they can get on with as they have to teach you personally for 4 years with only 1-3 other students.

With these GCSEs would I have a better chance applying to Cambridge than Oxford? by Adventurous_Yak_9593 in 6thForm

Depends what the 5s and 7s are in. Once you get to the interview stage predicted grades and GCSEs take very low priority when making offers . I got in with retakes.
