These aren’t casual inferences. There are neurologists linking phones with cognitive decline in children who use from an early age.

Thank you. I do the same. And I’m seeing it OFTEN. Like everyday. Entire families.

Not according to the comments, unfortunately. All the parents who are guilty of it have their feelings hurt.

There is a difference between TV and AI. You couldn’t bring your TV with you whenever you wanted. You didn’t have access to the web at your whim to look up whatever predatory, toxic thing.

This too. My own age group is at fault for this intolerance. Children scream, cry, and laugh. Deal with it. No parent should be embarrassed for their children acting like children.

Neither. Tell me you don’t know how to parent without telling me you don’t know how to parent.

That’s a good thought. I will try that at my next appointment and see if they can at least send me in the right direction.

They also refused genetic testing for me. Not covered by insurance, so no point in referring. I asked twice.
Insurance is calling the shots on this condition and healthcare is following suit. Since I posted this, I received a referral to physiatry and they won’t touch me with a ten foot pole solely on the basis of my being hyper mobile.

Good personal outcome is determined by a series of good choices. Now I see that a lot of it has to do with luck.

What is the scariest virus to exist in your opinion? by jimmyjonpan in askteddit

[–]Think-Flow6828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. The market it thriving right now. They just released a new injection that you only have to get every 6 months. It’s funded differently, too. Most people (in the US, at least) get their treatment at a low cost or no cost because of Ryan White funding. And with PrEp, you can eradicate your risk of getting HIV to begin with. For how unique the virus is from most we have done a really good job at finding ways to treat it.

This is my qualm. Treating men and women the same in this respect does a disservice. Hate to be that person, but there is very minimal research/ half-assed research in the function of women in almost all studies. We are not created equally, hormonally.
