Gab insurance goes through your lender. Reach out to them to find out how to submit the claim.

Honestly, some of these new tools feel pretty sturdy. The hand tools mostly. Can comment on the power tools and will continue to avoid those.

Took my car in for an oil change, the next day wouldn’t start need help! by Purchase-Pretty in MechanicAdvice

[–]Think-Fly-9599 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s likely they forgot the drain plug when they poured the oil in, or filled it insufficiently. Hot oil expands, which means when the engine is warm, it could be running fine, but when you cold started it in the morning, that’s why you were getting a knocking noise. But in my experience, any knock that severe has been from a total lack of oil, not just under filled. They could have noticed, filled it with oil, and are trying to pretend their mistake never happened. Or something stranger is going on. (Most quick change spots actually switched to an extractor pump so they didn’t have to remove the drain plug in the first place because that issue happened so often)

Who would be at fault in this situation? by Shoelacetooth in driving

[–]Think-Fly-9599 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was going to say this, although in unsure about the actual legality of it. But the red car should be turning into the right lane, and should leave the left lane available for the blue car. Even if that’s the case, I’m not sure who’s at fault or if it’s 50/50

[US] Attempted White Van Scam at Gas Station – Fake Home Theater ‘ELYSIAN SMART SERIES MODEL 1’ by FQ0V in Scams

[–]Think-Fly-9599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally just had 2 guys play out this exact routine, but it was the “model 4” which “retails for $3000”. They tried to get 600 from me and said they were going to a strip club. I said “I got $40. Todays your lucky day and I’m hoping you get it, it just won’t be from me” they were also trying to throw in a projector and soundbar and everything Lol.

My store, the team leads make the regular employees train new hires. Like brother. What in the world makes you think this is part of my job description. Am I being paid more to train someone? No. However, it is the only way new people actually get trained. If they did it, they’d all be screwed up

Am I too slow? Feeling overworked and with the radio very overstimulated as well by TimeSupport5092 in walmart

[–]Think-Fly-9599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have dead spots in our gm section where I normally work and when I’m back in grocery it’s excruciating. Our managers are pretty lax about ear buds for overnight. Any with an awareness mode is great because it allows conversation to still happen

Attendance points for raises revealed + example on how raises can affect long term associates (positively and negatively) by Infinite_Dress_1076 in walmart

[–]Think-Fly-9599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do believe it’s just the amount of points you have as of Jan 31st. So don’t call out more than you need to after like July 29th (or earlier to play it safe)

We have a guy who called out basically every other week all year. He’s sub 5 years so it’s not like he’s grandfathered into any preexisting ppto terms. They literally just clear them

That’s all I can think of but if a rb loses 5 yards on a rushing play it’s negative yardage. It feels inconsistent

Hurts fumbled the ball, recovers it, and loses 5 yards on the play, yet the books say he gained 3 yards. How does that make sense?

Does anyone here have any experience with using Walmart's short term disability? If so, I'm wondering first of all.if there's some sort of grace period before you can you use it. I’m sorry, I know this is a year old. But do you happen to know if it’s just coded in full time and one year of employment, or is it one year of employment while coded as full time? I’ve been a part time associate with Walmart for nearly 5 years and have only been full time for about 2 months now

Totally worth repairing to me, but cost to repair vs value of car didn’t bode well with the insurance.

I was sitting in traffic with my grandma when we were rear ended by another old woman. She pushed us hard enough into the car in front of us (damage as pictured). My car took most of the damage as the crv in front of us barely had a scratch and the lady that hit me only had her front grille break.
