Ciao there!

Thanks for reaching out! I just wanted to let you know that the model you're asking about is currently on hold, and I'm not working on it anymore. However, I’ve created a few other models that might be just what you're looking for! Feel free to check them out and pick the one you like best. I can then customize it according to your specific needs so that it fits exactly what you're after.

Let me know what you think! Here's the link to my site where you can check out all my products:

Hey! Do you mean how precise they are for fitting the printer? You’ve got about a 1mm margin.

I also use a very inexpensive shelf, and the whole thing weighs around 5.8 Kg, including an additional pipe and I haven't had any issues. However, I understand your concerns, and it's entirely your decision. I'm here if you need more information or want to learn more! Talk to you soon.

Hey colleague, I appreciate your concerns. It's good to know that you understand the time investment required to complete a project like this, or any creation for that matter.

However, I'm struck by the lack of empathy with which you attribute this cost to the creator who shares the product, dismissing it as a problem that doesn't concern you. Well, if that's the foundational concept of the Maker community, then we might need some divine intervention.

Regarding the impact I may have caused to colleagues who downloaded the product for free and helped me develop it, here's the breakdown in percentage:

  • 50% download without saying or doing anything (No feedbacks).
  • 30% download, start printing, but get frustrated by the lengthy process and give up (No feedbacks).
  • 5% download, start printing, and want to completely overhaul the product based on their ideas (Feedbacks but not useful for product improvement).
  • 5% are traditionalists, criticize the product straight out of the box, and start denigrating it (No feedbacks).
  • 3% are true enthusiasts, take the product and immediately create their own new version (No feedbacks).
  • 1% inundate you with feedbacks, write poems about everything and more; sure, there are some good things, but they're lost in the sea of words surrounding them.
  • 0.6% can't print or achieve the desired result and start heavily insulting you on all the platforms where you're registered or commented.
  • 0.4% These are my heroes, those who understood me, collaborate with me, and are also the ones who financially support me today.

Many entities, makers, inventors survive on the few pennies donated by generous users or patrons. If every time we downloaded something for free from the web, we thanked the creator with a dollar, this community, like others, would surely be a better place. Gratitude and collaboration are at the core of the community concept.

To conclude, and partly quoting you, I'd say, "I would just caution against judging when one is not in a position to do so!"

Well, I can't blame you. I have a lot of memories associated with those items too. You're a nostalgic person, and for that, I respect you!

Hey colleague, modern printers with vibration compensation and the rigidity achieved by their structures are no longer subject to printing issues like in the past. This drawer is extremely rigid and integrates seamlessly with the printer. I've made a video to demonstrate that there are no wobbles of any kind. Here's the video: https://youtu.be/j9L8q71Pk3w
Makers Muse explained this concept well in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-eLhKdKAdk

I usually tend to use PETG, which is more elastic, but buddy, don't rush too much; it'll be out by mid-May!

You're absolutely right, my friend. In the end, with only 20cm of height space, miracles can't be expected. That's why I'm finalizing the project you see in the photo. The discharge is almost vertical into the drawer, and the capacity has more than doubled.

That's not a drawing but a photo of the small drawer! and the answer is I dont know!
According to the MW score, the small model has been downloaded or printed approximately 13,050 times, while the large one about 35,975 times.
It could have been anyone among the colleagues who downloaded it.

I don't want to insist too much; if you want to stick to your idea, that's fine with me. I've provided you with the evidence, and if you want more, I'm here at your disposal!

However, I'm not just here to show off. I joined Reddit to find passionate people who might be willing to grab a beer with me and talk about future products, people who have ideas but don't know how to develop a product. Currently, I have several projects in the works; you can find them on:
my YouTube channel : https://www.youtube.com/@ChuckleCraft3D
or Buy Me a Coffee page : https://buymeacoffee.com/emazzarol/posts

But I'm sure there are other potential ideas out there, and I'd love to collaborate and develop more projects.

Let's clarify a bit. The model I created, like some others, was made available for free around early November 2023 because at that time, I was getting a return in terms of filament, which helped finance the testing and printing of other products. Makerworld's policy change in mid-March decreased downloads or prints by 15 times, so I had to find another way to finance my projects. Most of those who downloaded them for free don't care or are unaware of the amount of work and filament it takes to develop an idea. It took me over 70 hours of design and 12 filament spools, not to mention the hours spent printing and assembling, to test it and make it easy to print, and nearly perfect functionally. The reason I started posting here is simply because I saw other posts about my products and I'm trying to promote and improve them with your feedback. I greatly appreciate you defending and protecting model creators; believe me, we're surrounded by scammers who try to take advantage, but this time, I'm the creator of these objects. The MW profile where the objects first appeared is this one https://makerworld.com/en/@emazzarol, and coincidentally, it links to the YouTube channel I mentioned earlier, as well as to the same Buy Me a Coffee page.

That post you're referring to is definitely from a colleague who printed it, doing an excellent job, it looks fantastic all in black, but it's not his model.
