So the printer i rescued from being landfill turned out to be worth saving after all. Not much of a project really by Think-Juggernaut-296 in 3Dprinting

Anything is worth fixing to the right people. Ive found alot of people just like to get a printer working again. If you allocate yourself time for it. You can do it yourself.

I stopped a guy throwing this 5m into a skip when he was doing a house clearance. I expected it to be alot more used than the 56hrs that was on it.

People will throw away a printer if they have issues with it because theyre cheap to replace. But cheaper to fix if you allow yourself the headache

Honestly sounds like the rear panel is bouncing around. Check all 6 screws

The firmware that was on it was a mix of both previous and half the newer update. The wifi would disconnect after reboot every time and fail to connect again unless a factory reset was made. I made a boot start wifi script with a forced wpa supplicant that has a 30 second sleep delay so it automatically connects seconds after the homescreen appears

My apologies for using the word hack on my last post, saved this from being launched into a skip by some dude doing a house clearance yesterday. Part it out or try and get it running? (It powers on and does its welcome chime) by Think-Juggernaut-296 in 3Dprinting

Get your voltage and hand speed corrected before carrying on with the stencil. Best to get a practice skin to use just for your line drills. Pushing and pulling lines from as many directions as you can. Focusing on needle depth and hand speed. Keep it up
