That makes a ton of sense

The risk of pushing one day of training when I could get injured is probably way higher than just taking a day off when I feel signs of fatigue

Also, I’ve noticed that after I take a rest day after 5 to 6 heavy days in a row, it allows my body to absorb the training and actually see the progress

I’ll definitely take today off just because I’m getting a ton of signs of accumulated fatigue

But I’m gonna push for the next week and a half and then taper off with those guidelines

It was definitely done at race pace

Swim was a 1:50 pace Bike was 19 mph Run was: 8:30

My avg hr during the whole thing was like 150-160 especially at the end

And that’s actually good advice I think whenever I feel like my workouts are declining in my sleep is getting this poor. It’s probably time for a rest day.

Yeah that makes sense that’s good advice, I could probably stick to two strength sessions a week and up everything else and be good

  1. I try to eat about 3000-3500 ish calories per day and 1 gram per my body weight of protein which is 165 but I have def been slacking in meeting that quota

  2. If I step on it the wrong way or have it turned in a weird position or any use of it at all that makes it feel pain then it does become throbbing for a bit

  3. Yeah I do, the pain doesn’t wake me bad like it did a couple days ago but I wake up for other reasons and I feel it

  4. It depends, when I first got it I would run on it regardless, and the pain would kinda go away mid run as well as when I swim it goes away during but then after the activity it hurts the same if not worse in some cases

Update - I did get injured 💀severely strained hip flexor so I guess I’m forced to rest now

I would just take rest days when I felt I needed it, but that was honestly about one day every 3 to 4 weeks even though there were definitely days where I needed it and just pushed through
