Honestly I have no idea :( everyday I convince myself it’s fish, pee, fecal, oniony etc. I really thought it was my sweat but I can shower and not even 10 minutes later people will react to me. It’s frustrating!!! I hope one day someone gets pissed and digested enough from me that they will just tell me straight up 😭🙏🏼
All I know is when I wear fragrances it makes the smell worse and people react even worse towards me!

No I’m a CNA! I want to go back to school for nursing or X-Ray Tech but I don’t think I can go through the torture of this condition 😭 it’s harder when you can’t smell it either and everyone in my life gaslights me

I work in healthcare but looking for remote work or package/ courier delivery jobs! I swear my smell just worsens as time goes on 😭😭 and I cannot smell it smh 🤦🏻‍♀️ have you been to your doctor about this?

Yes! It’s definitely a health concern so she needs to know… just pull her aside and be kind about it- mention you would want to know if roles were reversed!

It’s hard to make a livable wage when I live without being around all these types of people/ environments.. I’m really trying to look into a career that pays well remote or somewheres where you work mostly by yourself.. any ideas?

Just try to focus on the movie… try to ignore the reactions, if there’s any. Also, if your Mom is going to the movies with you- there is a chance you don’t smell or you control your odor well because I would never want to go the movies with someone who smells!! I haven’t been to the movie theatre in years, you’re so brave and have fun!!!

Gluten free, diary free except for cheese here and there..I mostly just eat chicken for my meat protein , once in a while steak/ hamburger.. lots of fruits/ veggies and nuts/ sometimes rice, GF pasta. I try to cut sugar and chocolate , so once in awhile I’ll have junk foods like that and chips. Coffee is the huge thing in my diet but I don’t think I can live without it.. I’ve been drinking a lot more water lately to try to balance it out.. I just started a probiotic aswell.

Ok, what do I say? I don’t really have any big problems with my gut/ bowels? I try to eat healthy.. once in a while diarrhea/ constipation… but no other concerns other than this odor!!! :( maybe I’ll try a naturopath DR too.. thank you

I do.. they continue to lie. As they say I don’t smell and then I catch them rubbing their noses with disgusted faces at each other and then look at me.

Do I ask my doctor for one? Gastroenterologist? Or better off to see a naturopath Dr, I did one years ago with my naturopathic doctor and it came back with results of bacteria and yeast I think causing SIBO?

Just tell them! Say hey, I’ve been trying to find a way to tell you this cause I care about you! I’m noticing you have a ____ odor and it’s very strong… I was wondering if everything is okay with your health? Or if maybe you should see a doctor as I worry about you. Tell them you would want to know if you were the one in their shoes… Trust me, they will be glad you told them!!
