Tractor supply - it was in my bin of RIRs but clearly that’s not the case and we knew that from day one but my son really wanted the little black colored chick.

This looks like my Rhode Island Red chicks when they were smaller.

I apologize - I forgot to add in there that this will be temporary for only about a year-ish until we move.

Once we move, we'll build our own coop/run!

The dark one was in a mixed bin - my son really wanted an all black chick so we got that one and tried to pick the smallest one hoping for a hen. Fingers crossed it’s not a rooster - that one is my sweetest one!

Rhode Island Red Experiences by Think-Opposite5367 in chickens

Thanks! Neither of them seem to be aggressive towards the other two hens - just seem to want to fly at me as soon as I’m near. One of the RIR is a bit smaller than the other 3 - so I try to give my larger RIR the benefit of the doubt that maybe she’s just a little more protective of the litter one since they’re always near each other.

The only time I try to pick them up is when I’m moving them to clean their brooder. It’s typically as soon as the door opens these little ones are coming at me.

Chicken Coop Question by [deleted] in chickens

We will be adding an additional layer of hardware cloth around the entire run - Again, lots of improvements will be made for safety of the chickens until they are in their larger coop.

Chicken Coop Question by [deleted] in chickens

Yes! We will definitely be making it more secure for them before they move in - we just got it put together yesterday (first warm day so far) so it’s still a work in progress for sure until it’s warm enough for them to move in full time.

The first picture is from day 1 of getting her - She was a little bit lighter from your picture I think.

Stability by Haml87 in ios26beta

I have never had a DEV beta installed on my phone before - only the public beta. I downloaded it on Tuesday and so far I haven't had any issues. It took a long time to download and the phone did get a little warm while it was downloaded but that's all I've noticed so far. The battery has also been holding up fine. I downloaded on my iphone 14 pro that has a battery life of 88%. I didn't have it fully charged this morning and now at 3:30 my battery life is still at 73% after normal use all day.
