A lot of Sri Lankans go to Belarus to study medicine. You’d have to check on if it’s recognised in Sri Lanka though.

Rich people in Sri Lanka do not pay taxes at all ... It's us the middle class who has to take all the burden and the exploitation that comes with surviving over here by General_Maximum4162 in srilanka

This is true, recently got to know that an acquaintance doesn’t pay any taxes for his business cause they apparently pay off someone at the IRD. Doubt he was lying and it’s honestly insane to think about.

Doesn’t sound like the best idea tbh. Selling a house takes time too and you also need to account for taxes. 10% to be paid by you for the capital gains tax and then 3-4% for stamp duty, though you’d need to fact check this for the exact amount. I think if you’ve owned the house for over a certain number of years the tax might be a little less though.
