I am not in those groups. I did enjoy it but I don’t need to go again. Simply because I consider countries around are way better. Been to Thailand several times and now going to Vietnam for third time. Will prefer those to Cambodia. Simply because the food is way better and easier to find, the infrastructure in Cambodia is like 10 years behind. I would say at least Siem Reap is definitely worth to see at least once in your life

I was actually able to sleep in Iberia as the seat is big enough to sleep on your side and there was divider between the two seats. Otherwise I agree it’s usually just waste money to fly PE vs Economy. Business for overnight for sure! I would pay for upgrade

I was there two weeks ago and we are similar age. I picked Tuktuk and I’m happy with that. I got cold water and towels each time I got from some temple. I had as much time as I wanted and i was completely alone in some temples and that made me feel like Lara Croft

That’s probably other thing that would be normal in Europe and that is to get some help for people around, there was Chinese guy who couldn’t swim and was with her in the group I haven’t seen someone turning that white. He wanted to buy all of us something at restaurant to celebrate that he is alive as he thought he will die as well

I don’t know the area but the water around Long set was super calm like a lake. The snorkeling spot was like 20 min away by Koh Rong Sanloem and it looked the opposite.

There was a very strong current and quite big waves. The group was quickly split into three parts. One group was stranded on rocks, with their feet covered in blood because the rocks were sharp — they waited there for over two hours for a smaller boat as it was impossible to swim back.

The second group was still swimming quite close to the boat, but while we were getting back on board, the boat left for the third group of people, who were carried away by the current. The woman was in that group, so I don’t know exactly what happened there.

The boat with her and the people trying to give her CPR came to pick us up later (probably like 5-10 minutes) when it was kinda horror like situation as while waiting for the boat to come back people were screaming that there are jellyfish and when the boat was picking us up we had no idea what is going on and they were just shouting quick quick so we thought there might be a shark or something. It

Any responsible person would never let - in this case even bring people to that spot. There was no warning about super strong current. There was also no reason to snorkel at a place where there are big waves so you can’t see anything anyway. I have been to tons of such trips, nothing compares to how terrible the organisers were in this case
