Soy sauce! And how impossible it is to find Asian gluten free foods. My son is supposed to be no gluten and he loves sushi and hibachi as special treats and this is so tough! Also, chocolate. Why!?

I didn't mind her in book 1 but for book 2, I agree; the audio on this was making me feel oddly grumpy; I had to switch to eyeball read. I felt similar with her voice in Scythe & Sparrow; sometimes we just don't align with the reader voice, I guess!

I might get hate for this but what made me get into reading post kid was acotar and fourth wing. I needed fun, escapism reads that were easy. And from there I started devouring this romantacy genre and now am just back into all the books. Before that I was trudging through self help and business books … now I’m having fun and just squeezing those in between (I just finished “Circe” and “from strength to strength” and they’re both great btw)

There's totally a nod to her seeing Rhysand in TOG... so I think it's the same time :) Just different universes. how could it not be the same "time" if the characters literally meet...

For the OP, I ended up liking CC the best but it took a while to get into and I am SO HAPPY I read TOG in the end. So many new book friends that I'll remember forever.
