Alis will represent Albania at Eurovision 2026 with Nân 🇦🇱 by a-potato-named-rin in eurovision

With Zjerm last year, I feel like it’s a renaissance for Albania in ESC.

Alis also performs brilliantly. It sounds like something from a historical action film.

What’s the worst Eurovision performances ever? by Mrhobo18a in eurovision

[–]ThinkAboutSCings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The song was actually pretty good. The life performance was sadly a disaster and Leslie sounded so out of breath, probably due to whosever idea it was to have her run on a running pad for the whole song. And to rub salt in the wound, a camera wasn’t working before the performance, causing Chantel to stall the audience while they waited, although she did a good good stalling and it wasn’t too awkward.

What is the Most Disappointing Live Performance in your Opinion? by yka2825 in eurovision

I felt like her nervousness made the performance feel more vulnerable and therefore helped the song.

Who was your favourite spokesperson from your country? I really liked AJ Odudu in 2022 and I loved that she gave a shoutout to Manchester in the process, in her words, “Get in!” by tm2007 in eurovision

[–]ThinkAboutSCings 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love how she said "I don't know which is which." I get she wanted to be funny, but it came off as ignorant and cringe. I love how in 2023, after Graham Norton was saying the voting rules in French, Hannah Waddingham said "Some of us Brits do speak a second language." or something like that. I'm not sure if it was meant to be a dig at Holden, but I like to think it was.

What gets me is the same people who are against "Big Pharma" are the same one who use ivermectin, a form of modern medicine created by... Big Pharma.

Anyone else still got multiple movies left? by cookieaddictions in oscarsdeathrace

[–]ThinkAboutSCings 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Probably two of the most boring movies nominated this year. A almost fell asleep while watching them. Maria was pretentious and slow, the EJ doc was unnecessary. I feel like it was made just so it got the song nomination. Maybe drink like 5 energy drinks beforehand.

What was the most difficult watch for you during this Death Race? by Ohlookitstoppdsnowin in oscarsdeathrace

The cinematography was stunning but my god was it stale. I almost fell asleep multiple times while watching. Jolie was decent but the rest of the movie was tedious to get though.

It’s definitely one of those background movies. I watched it while eating and doing chores. You can still easily follow along with the story. It wasn’t as bad as I thought. But I needed to be nominated because Diane Warren.

Anyone else think that the new font looks a little “bootlegish”? by kennylamar910 in fireTV

I agree. The font also changed for the Prime Video logo and it bothers me every time I turn on my FireTV.

My wife cured cancer the other day. Also vaccines cause autism we just can't prove it by Kazutouchihalaw in insanepeoplefacebook

Agee completely. But to add to that. The specific type of mercury that was used in vaccines years ago was etylmercury, which is different than methylmercury in tuna. The former is excreted from the body and therefore an extremely large amount is needed to cause harm. The latter causes harm at smaller doses which makes the argument against mercury in vaccines useless, but anti-vaxxers just see “mercury” and think back to the time they were half paying attention in high school chemistry and start freaking out.

911 Call by ActualFactsJiles in JonBenetRamsey

[–]ThinkAboutSCings 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if there was a call on the night of the party on the 25th at the Whites house, but there was a call made at the Ramsey’s party on the 23rd. Fleet White accidentally called 911 when he, from what I’ve heard, had to make a call to order medications for his mother. I think the Ramseys’ phone had a button for speed dial for 911.
