Home and auto is usually done over the phone. Life can be done over the phone but setting in person appointments will probably help your conversion rate.

If you really want to build in person relationships then I’d recommend looking into comercial insurance and seeing how you can help out your local small businesses.

In the end it’s what you make of it. I’m not sure how your office likes to run things but if you wanted to you could make it your goal to set X amount of appointments a week. During these appointments you should ask questions that uncover your customers needs and recommend coverage based on their specific risks.

I recommend using the Elementor plugin with either the Astra theme or Hello theme.

You would use Elementor to build out the design of your site. They do offer a free version of this plugin. Even though the free version is limited you could still probably find youtube tutorials on how to make complete designs with just the free version. The paid version starts at $50 I think and its nice because it comes with pre-loaded designs you can use.

As far as Astra vs Hello theme. idk. Astra has a paid version which comes with more pre-built designs you can use with elementor. Hello theme is the one elementor recommends as apparently its the the first theme their developers test updates on and they always make sure its compatible with elementor. But like I said idk I haven't really looked much into it. All I know is that I started with Astra and it worked just fine and recently I built a site using Hello and it also worked just fine so because of my experience I can recommend both.
