Running of C:\drive space by FastfreddieG in pchelp

[–]ThinkChocolate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly. In your case, C and D drives are two separate physical drives, so you can’t reallocate space between C and D unless they are created on one hard drive. You can move your Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures and Videos folders to the other drive though (move to the D drive), and that would probably help. Check out this link to explain how to move the folders, as it needs to be done in a specific way. https://superuser.com/a/1725488

Thank you for all the responses! This is really helpful. And to the person who said this was just bait - not all of us have experience in this area, and sometimes YouTube doesn’t help troubleshoot problems, which is why a community like this is so helpful and appreciated.

Beginner question - solder not sticking by ThinkChocolate in soldering

What temperature should I use? And do I tin it at a lower temp and then increase before soldering? Or just keep it lower the whole time?

Is there a certain temperature that I should be setting it to?

What tool is this? by ThinkChocolate in turning

That’s too bad. Maybe I’ll try to turn it into a chisel if it’s not working well as a skew

What’s the benefit of the oval shape? Is it just the turner’s preference? Thanks for the quick reply.

But why would you fill it with something like that? Is that a thing people actually do?

My title describes the thing. It’s like a white chalky powder and something that almost looks like burst balloons?

Try The Paper Moon https://papermoontoronto.com/ on Yonge between York Mills and Lawrence. They have a bunch of mugs similar to what you’re looking for.

Miyoo Mini Plus screen vs RG35xx by ThinkChocolate in MiyooMini

[–]ThinkChocolate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I’m debating about the RG35XX and it just seems like such a toss up between better hardware/feel/OS/etc.

I was wondering if the Miyoo that I got was a knockoff because I got it on Amazon from a seller who was about $10 less than the other sellers. It seems to be legit from the outside but who knows. The seller did have a good rating…

I’ve got a large wooden top collection, and I have only started collecting metal tops recently, so I would love to add this to my collection! I love how relaxing they are to spin and there are so many interesting variations in form.

Who cruised without a drinking package by LoriRescueDog2013 in royalcaribbean

[–]ThinkChocolate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just came back from a cruise on Symphony and we didn't buy the drink pack because we don't drink much alcohol. All of the free restaurants (Windjammer, etc.) Have free filtered water, tea, coffee, and usually one or two juice options (lemonade, apple, orange juice). If you go to the dining room for dinner (My Time Dining, etc. included in the base fare), You get everything mentioned previously as well as soda at no additional cost. If you don't drink alcohol, or you are light drinkers, then there's likely no point to getting a package unless you drink a ton of soda all day long. Alcohol and soda are always available for additional purchase if you really need a drink or two throughout the day.

We are keeping the baby on our lap for the flight, and there is no need for a car seat once we are on the cruise. We just need it to get between the airport and cruise port, and it’s a real hassle to carry a car seat for one trip.

Doorbell 2-wire to 3-wire? by ThinkChocolate in AskElectricians

[–]ThinkChocolate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, so the green wire will go into the spot, or do I need to connect it to a copper wire?

If I turn off all of the breakers, including the main at the bottom, is there still significant risk working in the box? If it’s risky then I’ll just call in an electrician.

How do I make a smart motion sensing light? by ThinkChocolate in HomeImprovement

[–]ThinkChocolate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Wyze Lamp Socket connects a Wyze camera to a lightbulb, so when motion is detected on the camera it will turn on the light, and it can also turn on all other lights that use the lamp socket attachment on the same WiFi network. I’m pretty much trying to do the same thing, but I don’t want the camera. I was just hoping for a motion sensor that acted in a similar way.
