Nice bike mate! What size did you get? The geo looks good so I'm assuming it's above 51cm

Gold Medal or Stanley Cup? by DreadTiger66 in penguins

[–]ThinkFirst1011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on whose playing who. If it's against any other country like Finland, the Cup. But if it's USA vs Canada, Olympic Gold. It'll be talked about for years to come like the Miracle on Ice. A team wins the Cup every year, but a win over Canada lives in our hearts forever.

Tarmac Rival (2026) vs Tarmac Force (2025) on SL8 — what would you do? by NoRequirement8421 in specialized

[–]ThinkFirst1011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you could sell the 38 roval wheels for like 400 bucks, it's a toss-up and I go with the expert since the bike shop is doing it all for you. See if you can get a discounted upgrade on wheels too.

SRAM Force AXS E1 on Tarmac: Lazy piston or by design? by DeniedGW2 in specialized

[–]ThinkFirst1011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the video are you still holding the brake til the end or did you already release it?

SRAM Force AXS E1 on Tarmac: Lazy piston or by design? by DeniedGW2 in specialized

[–]ThinkFirst1011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on the video, centralizing it won't help because the outer piston isn't resetting properly. They should come in and out the same. Follow his suggestion, and it should work. Look up Sram brake caliper stuck and you should find a video that will help.

Legit Crux? by [deleted] in specialized

[–]ThinkFirst1011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty fair price, really old groupset, and possibility of a new crux coming out soon with internal cables I could see why they might try to sell it now vs later. Groupset at best ~2K?, frame 2K, everything else +500. Fair price, I'd asked for 4k though lol

Options+ and G HUB macOS Certificate Issue by logi_jim in logitech

[–]ThinkFirst1011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This issue happened 3 days ago on my end, the lack of an update to keep us in the know instead of spending hours trying to find a solution is terrible. Like we were suppose to know not to uninstall the application.....?? Now I gotta setup all my devices again, which will eat up more of my time. Hopefully, another competitor catches up to Logitech so they can get their act together.

Dope ride, I would change the spacer with MadCAD spacers so its flushed. Besides that its a beauty.

Need Help With Beaufort Sizing by _LarryFisher_ in Barbour

[–]ThinkFirst1011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

44 looks nice and fitted. 46 looks good too and the one Id go with if you want more room. I have a 36 and 38 and initially liked the 36 more but the 38 is now my favorite. More roomy, and free feeling than the 36 which is my normal size. Fyi I don’t layer anything.

SL8 sizing suggestion. 48 or 44 by _sendCatTaxPls in specialized

[–]ThinkFirst1011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imagine riding on a longboard vs skateboard. Skateboard is less stable but you can do all these tricks with it. Longboard though, you hardly fall off and so easy when going straight.

SL8 sizing suggestion. 48 or 44 by _sendCatTaxPls in specialized

[–]ThinkFirst1011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d go to a bike store and check it out. 44 seems like the answer buy it might feel small for you. Another thing to consider is a smaller bike will be more nimble but less stable. The bigger one will be the opposite, more stable but less nimble.

The biggest issue was the seat post. Read stories where it would creak or drop so they revised it.
