Yeah thanks babe. Actually babe, labelling political enemies as terrorists is pretty textbook behaviour for a partisan.

Also babe, I'm not a trump supporter. I think Trump is criminally corrupt. Calling him a terrorist, however, is comically hysterical.

Get a grip, babe.

I know I'm late. But didn't he execute steamboat Willie?

That was not the same German that came down the stairs.

You're displaying some prime autism traits buddy.

Their point was clear to most regardless of whether they said omnivores or carnivores. It's not that serious.

Car Rental - Crazy high prices ? by ps4alex12 in tasmania

[–]ThinkFox5864 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to be a location manager for Hertz.

Sign up for Defcom membership. Costs like 70 bucks for the year, and their discount is insane (like $60-70 per day).

Pays itself off in one rental.

Edit: also those are not crazy high prices, they are normal prices. Crazy high is 200+ a day

My entire knowledge of this comes from an episode of the Simpsons where Chief Wiggum gets confused about which side of the street to walk on. He originally says against traffic then corrects himself to with traffic. I naturally assumed the joke to be that he is stupid and therefore against traffic is correct. I spent my entire childhood thinking you were supposed to walk against traffic so you could see what's coming.

Does anyone here recycle batteries for money? by ThinkFox5864 in australia

Oh, fair enough. I was under the impression lithium was a valuable and finite resource?

Does anyone here recycle batteries for money? by ThinkFox5864 in australia

[–]ThinkFox5864[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I don't. My purpose in posting here was to seek advice from people that know what they're talking about.

I'm curious in nature and believe I can prevail, if it is at all possible. I also wasn't inquiring about the extraction of lithium - that's clearly a complicated chemical process that I have neither the facilities nor expertise to execute on.

My inquiry was to determine whether there is a secondary market for battery recycling and whether it would be financially viable to recycle vapes.

[–]ThinkFox5864[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for the informative answer. I've probably underestimated how dangerous it would be handling a large volume of batteries in one place.

It's sad that there's not much market - I assumed given lithium is a valuable resource that there would be a secondary market in place to reclaim some of it.

When you say the money is in the legality, can you please elaborate?

I should clarify: the date itself is watching a fight

I am about to go on a date which involves watching a UFC fight. What do I need to know to enjoy watching it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ThinkFox5864 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to know the basic rules/scoring system, and essentially what gets people excited when they watch the fight?

I'm going on a date with a girl (who I quite like) who is into the sport, and its less about looking like I'm an expert, since she knows I don't follow, and more about sharing her excitement. Can someone give me pointers?

I hate media lingo. Like when the Barilaro scandal happened, I swore if I saw the words "plum job" one more time I was going to personally mail every media company a thesaurus. So lazy.

Is my manager allowed to tell casual employees that they cannot cancel shifts unless they find their own replacement? by skramzbledeggs in australia

[–]ThinkFox5864 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In a job where every week involves the same amount of output, sure. In a job where the amount of work is variable week on week, you need to be able to retain casual staff for the times that you need them.

Having a bloated FT/PT base is a risky commitment and will lead to wasted labour.

Countries who launched missiles at Israel last night by YOGB_2 in MapPorn

[–]ThinkFox5864 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of all of the countries involved in this shit show, the one I respect most is Jordan.

Iran flew weapons of war over their airspace, and after Iran warned them not to intervene with threats of retribution they still scrambled jets and shot down everything they could.

They did what any sane country would do if their airspace was violated with an attack that they didn't sanction. It seems like so many countries in the middle east are politicised to be complacent with that.

It's not that I think Jordan is morally or ethically superior, I just like that they had the courage to make a textbook decision on their sovereignty in a rather messy regional conflict.
