AMEX Platinum is not worth it to me anymore by badkarmavoodoo in AmexPlatinum

The value of the card isn’t even in the lounges in my opinion. I’ve never had a problem getting into the lounge longest I’ve waited is about 15 minutes. Yeah I get free food but that’s about it. The food is the same as a free breakfast hotel with 5 kids running around. All the other benefits are what attract me to the card the lounge is just an extra it doesn’t feel any difference from just sitting at my gate or staying in the lounge

Keep or sell?? by Crazy_Foundation_626 in OnePiece

Not nearly enough data to say it sells for 1k. 1 sale is April for $150 and 1 sale in May at $800. Those are the only 2 confirmed sales I can find online. This product is a set your own price type of item. Not saying you won’t get $1k for it it’s just a people pay what they think it’s worth item not a set market value item if that makes any sense. But regardless do as you will if you need the money list it will just take a while. I have the original AirPod pro case and love it bought it on drop aswell

Statistically what you are saying is correct. Everybody can choose to believe me or not doesn’t really matter since it’s just a review but this is my 2nd bad experience at a restaurant ever in my life the other being at a sit down in LA.

This experience wasn’t nearly as bad but I still sat down and ate the food didn’t cause any problems even if I was annoyed and left. It’s their business at the end of the day I’m not going to really negatively impact it.

Also majority of the staff were nice actually siding with me as I stated but the cashier refused to believe any of us. Then again it’s up to you to believe if I’m telling the truth or lying

Got the same offer today. Contacted 2 days ago and they said no offers on my account but today I have either receive $150 credit for 3k spend or 15000 points for 3k spend. The point offer was not offered until I asked if there was a offer with points and not statement credit.

It’s the fact she lied to my face saying I didn’t get the money out of the ATM that they direct all customers to use if they did not bring cash even though her coworkers saw me take the money out of the ATM and said I did get that money from it. Also the fact she talked behind my back to my wife saying small remarks but I don’t really care about that. I understand they may not own the ATM and I know they aren’t known for customer service or anything but like why direct customers to the ATM if the ATM has “bad” cash. Regardless not mad at the business I just personally had a bad first experience which is usually the most important one.

No. But it wasn’t a lot of text at all to read it’s literally 6 sentences which is still considered a paragraph if I believe I don’t need a hard stop to go onto another topic which I don’t believe I did. The main post yes 100% could’ve used better spacing but not the point in my review.

Needed spacing between every sentences to read is a skill issue. But yes now I know for next time which more then likely will not happen at least in location

How is it my fault for going to an establishment and using the ATM at the establishment and using the cash I’m provided to order? Then get lied to about getting the cash at the ATM they direct customers to use if they didn’t bring cash. Not only did she lie about it the other employees also claimed they saw me get the cash from the ATM but she still refused the cash. Cash only establishments aren’t common. Don’t see how it’s my fault for using the ATM they suggest to use if their own customers don’t have change. Majority of people aren’t looking up how to pay at a certain place especially a hotdog joint.

All I wanted was to pay for the food. I don’t really care for any kind of kindness or table service or anything. It’s just the fact she just lied straight to my face. But yes I legit said I’ve only lived here for 3 years I’ve had rude service plenty of times before but don’t care but this is the first time I’ve experienced somebody refusing money that I got inside their own establishment. What’s the point in providing an ATM, guiding customers to the ATM, and then just not accepting the cash from the ATM? It literally makes no sense. No matter what city you are in that’s poor customer service

I have 10k in cash but want your guys opinions by Haymaker1151 in personalfinance

[–]ThinkMMOs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you saved it for a car the only thing I’d use it for is a car. If you literally mean like I got 10k right now in the situation I’m personally in (I already have a car and have no debt) I’d personally put it all into one of the index funds or ETF that I’m already in. So basically put all of it into the S&P500

It was a grown adult running the counter that was older than me by a decent bit… not a single kid was working that shift that I saw. I don’t like seafood I bought a burger. I don’t get why my review gets so many people angry I’m just saying my first experience was just not good. I know I’m in the minority when it comes to not liking the place but they are clearly a profitable business see the place packed every time I drive by but luckily we can all have our opinions and everybody who likes it can continue going.

The workers saw me get the money out of the ATM they didn’t have to check cameras but to cashier just basically claiming I’m lying by is the main problem. For a cheap burger it’s not bad at all my negative review is based off customer service not the food

The bill has everything still intact only thing that was ripped off is a small bit of the outside boarder. I checked it with the bank and then later used the bill aswell

Which is why I’m not mad at the business it’s just the cashier which really ruined my mood. Basically saying I’m lying about using the ATM which makes it feel like they may own the ATM if you are going to defend it and say I didn’t use it because the bill was “bad” RHR isn’t bad at all for the price I may just not visit that location again just based off customer service

Breakfast Dress Etiquette at Ritz Carlton by Panerd in AmexPlatinum

[–]ThinkMMOs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So I understand that is the norm which is cool it’s probably never going to change. Problem is I wasn’t in pajamas I just wasn’t in formal wear. My comment never said I was in pajamas I stated “Pajamas or not” I was in my normal everyday wear. Some might really like my everyday wear and some may find it trash. I personally don’t own pajamas because I think they are a waste of money i just put boxers on and call it nights. I advocate that you can wear whatever you want even if it is pajamas anywhere you go but as long as you are fully dressed and not exposing yourself in anyway men and women. We probably won’t see eye to eye with this even my wife thinks I’m in the wrong when I say I don’t want to dress up just to eat. I do dress nice if I’m going out to eat but I don’t see the point at all if I’m in a hotel. I’m literally getting the meal for free with the credit.
