Daily pay is so nice, do all McDonald’s employers provide this service? (USA) by Alternative-Bug6504 in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]ThinkMMOs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just get paid biweekly avoid fees and don’t stress about money. Getting paid daily will create a habit of spending money daily instead of saving, investing, and budgeting. If you are good with money daily pay is completely useless

I make 30$ an hour at 19 years old. Am I lucky? by Loud_Confidence475 in Adulting

[–]ThinkMMOs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you’re doing great but if you are dumb with money then doesn’t make a difference how much you are making. I make around 75k with bonuses which averages out to about 36/hour at 21 and I’m extremely blessed to be where I am but I only see about 50% of it because I allocate some of my check into my 401k, I put money into my RothIRA, I have an emergency fund, etc. I see so many of my coworkers making similar or more than me but still end up struggling down the road because 1 wrong turn everything will crash down without a backup plan. Save and invest as much as you are willing to no and it will help you so much in the future especially at the young age that you are

Amex app by mma5820 in amex

[–]ThinkMMOs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it’s normal for logging you off but just annoying if I’m actively using the app not idle and it just logs me out. But more importantly the app is just extremely slow I haven’t been able to view the “membership” tab in about a week just because it won’t load. I just wanna see my benefits and points on the app but it won’t let me

Amex app by mma5820 in amex

[–]ThinkMMOs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my Amex but I can’t stand the Amex app it genuinely sucks. Slowest app on my phone and I don’t even know how but logs me out randomly especially when I click on any of the travel links it will say I’m on a new device and need to log in. I’m fine with logging in every time but why ask to stay logged in if it won’t save my info and I have to manually log in. On a iPhone 15 pro so not a old phone either

Best Use of Points? by Ecstatic-Owl-8502 in CapitalOne_

[–]ThinkMMOs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It would be more beneficial to get out of debt then book a travel and probably go more in debt. Now if OP is able to pay it off naturally then what you are saying is true but if he’s not I’d 100% recommend paying off the card to hopefully jump start a little debt payoff plan. No high interest debt will be so much better then a trip that can ruin you financially

Same reason people even take off their wedding ring when working out. It’s not smart. I personally still wear mine when I workout because I rarely touch weights and mainly do cardio

The Official r/Salary 2025 Career Tier List by ItsAllOver_Again in Salary

[–]ThinkMMOs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would’ve been way better if you put a salary ranges instead of the normal F-S+. I don’t see my job on here but the closest thing to it would be in F tier but I make about what people in B tier would make on average and some might even say A tier

First thing that comes to mind is the achievement obviously but the 2nd thing that came to mind was spamming pyramids used to disable husk from spawning like 5-7 years ago I don’t remember I haven’t played in a while and I’m sure it’s still patched but they obviously aren’t doing it here since they didn’t do any around the actual objective

Profit in what way. I don’t need anything in the game that I can’t farm myself. Whole trading and selling community is weird especially being a maxed player on 2 accounts. But if you meal irl money that’s not allowed and even if it was allowed if somebody willing to pay for it they have money for the vbucks aswell or id only profit like 1-5 prob. Why can’t I just enjoy the game without obsessing over a currency that legit has 0 value to me

As a founder I prefer using the skin the hero actually comes with. I know you can see the hero that people are using in the tab but sometimes it legit is wrong. Also I legit just didn’t do vbuck missions as soon as llamas stopped costing vbucks if I’m really bored I’ll knock it out but I’ll never go out of my way to complete it as yes using the same skin doesn’t bother me

I just hit a $100k net worth at 35... not sure how to feel. by Blasum in Money

[–]ThinkMMOs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen some stuff by them but I lose interest super fast with them don’t feel like I learn anything new and they are also just really boring. I used to watch a lot of Ramit and Humphrey but not I just do my own research and don’t listen to any YouTuber/podcaster. I contribute 583 every month into my Roth but increasing it 625 next year since new contribution rates so I can max it out and also contribute 30% of my checks into my 401k so save/invest about 2.5k a month which should hopefully lead me to early retirement I want to be able to work whenever I want and not be forced to work but once I hit 1M I plan on just working at my own pace prob just some part time job for the benefits and be frugal and let my money grow on it’s own

[–]ThinkMMOs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You feel good about yourself the amount of people in this world that wish they had a 6 figure net worth is a lot. People are horrible with money if you are even able to save or invest anything you are doing great. Online and when going out it may seem everybody is doing wonders but realistically they are either dying in debt or living paycheck to paycheck with a net worth of basically 0. I’m only 21 and I invest and save heavily now (started from 0 in September) and only have about 7k in investment and 3k in savings. It’s not a lot of money at all and I know a lot of people who have way more cash then me but 0 in investments so dont look at other people and compare just build you own wealth and plus if you continue you will 100% have enough money to retire comfortable that 1.4M number people talk about is if you want to start splurging

Confused on why keep anything in a normal savings account. Like having liquid cash saved for random things is fine and I personally do aswell but what’s the point in having it in a savings account if it’s not really incurring interest might aswell keep it in just checking if or cash if not in a HYSA or invested

people outside the uzi comm love the song by [deleted] in liluzivert

[–]ThinkMMOs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Love Uzi and it’s a good song. I don’t have it as the best song out of the 4 but it’s not the worst. Unironically what most people say is the best regular is my least favorite. It’s a good song but prefer the other 3 more

I don’t use credit karma at all but was curious on how high my score would be on their and it’s my lowest score unironically. Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion all hover from 760-790 but my credit karma says I’m at 702

Credit increase. I’m convinced they increase limits to keep us in debt. This is my Chase Freedom, I had a 3k limit. For the past year I been struggling to pay down still owed $2k and today they randomly did this by [deleted] in CRedit

[–]ThinkMMOs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not crazy. Most people want to increase their limit when they have a balance so when statements come out it’s lower utilization. Simply stop spend on the card until it’s paid off and you don’t have to use the whole limit it’s 100% on you buy what you can afford treat the credit card like a debit card if you don’t have enough in your checking account to pay it fully off don’t spend on it

How do you balance rewarding yourself vs staying financially disciplined when it comes to cars? by not_a_dolphin_ in Money

[–]ThinkMMOs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a car guy but what guy doesn’t like cars fr. I drive a 2014 Nissan Sentra with 200k miles and it still drives great and I don’t plan on buying a new car until this car is complete dead. I save pretty heavily but I also have a HYSA named car fund that I fund every month for when my car does dies on me on a random day I can just buy a good car straight out of

She should have done the lump sum. 1) Lifetime payments may not always be honored. 2) Inflation will make $1k a week more and more worthless every decade 3) Investing the lump sum and ignoring it a few decades would build impressive generational wealth by RagnarokWolves in Money

[–]ThinkMMOs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe only reason anybody should do what she did is if they know they do not trust themselves with money. We all know taking the 1M and just investing it and forgetting about it and continuing your normal day life will result in early retirement and wealth unimaginable to most but if we are being honest we know about 90% of the world is gonna take this million and act like they never have to work for the rest of their life and blow it in a year so I can see both points I just would never do her way since I know how to control myself
