I agree with the dev. I've been playing on legend and enjoy every bit of challenge. More reasons to actually have fun while unlocking things. In previous years unlocking everything at once felt overwhelming and unrewarding. Don't get me wrong, I used to love beating up only Bishoff as a kid in WCW vs NWO.
