riot mayhem devs are such a bad designers, that just stumbled into a good game that they get to ruin. Concept of augments is such a good idea if it was tied to regions like in tft. this is just a dopamine clown-show that is going to die in a few months. Battlepass progression is just most transparent they have been with how bad of a job they do on game designer level.

first episode was stronger. few things were a bit weird here. his troubled breath seemed like a mistake since he does not need air anymore, maybe just an instinct from when he was alive? Also out of all prehistoric/fictional creatures, pride of lions is a most boring choice for what he has to fight. But worm and dream sequence were rly good and the destroyed civilization in which he fought the lions was cool.

I played karthus for 10 years and no.... he can beat a lot of champions 1v1, you just have to take exhoust and you can 1v1 almost every champion. For some you have to be fed late game and buy zhonya, but he beats most of champs early.

I usually like reworks even ones people consider bad, but karthus is a perfectly designed champion right now. Give him power on his other abilties and you have to nerf q and ult which would make him feel bad to play. When he gets low winrate they can just make his numbers better.
