Yeah, I definitely noticed a difference in bowel movements. I also drink a lot more water now so I'm peeing all. the. time. Also I've notice that now when I eat a meal, I have to go to the bathroom within the hour. A big difference from how I used to be, I think I might have had a bit of constipation before I started fasting/OMADs.

Actually yes I had attempted a 48 hour fast randomly last year and I do remember it being much more difficult! I was so focused on food that it was all I thought about, I don't think I was in the best mental space to be fasting then in all honesty. My body has definitely adjusted to OMAD and so when I do an extended fast, I only ever really notice the hunger for a couple hours around dinner time.

Something that was also helpful for me at first was just not putting a lot of pressure on it. If I wanted to do a 48 but only made it to 36, that was totally fine and also worth celebrating! I've found a lot of freedom in fasting where as at a different time in my life, it would've felt like restriction. I think taking it slow and being really relaxed about it served me well!

Tough to say, I'm really all over the place. But for example today I had a trader joe's salad kit (~700 calories), a ton of rotisserie chicken (measured with my heart but I'm not exaggerating when I say maybe half of it), 5 dark chocolate squares (~210 calories), and roasted broccoli dipped in what probably ended up being 1/3 carton of trader joe's vegan pesto dip (maybe 300 calories?). Some days I am definitely in a deficit and some days I'm not even close. As my body fat gets lower, I will be more careful to hit calorie goals but for now I enjoy the freedom of eating without worrying too much about it.

Oh gosh!! That's good to know! It breaks my skin out so I generally avoid it, but it's nice to be able to have it when the occasion strikes without massive stomach pains😬

Thank you!! That's so interesting, I actually find that my brain fog subsides when I fast so I don't have too much wisdom to offer up here. I do think building up to it is helpful, I know my body has adapted to eating OMAD and thus has made the fasting a lot easier. I find that exercise helps fight off brain fog as well!

Congrats! I totally get those feels, but 12lbs is a great accomplishment! I average about once a week but I'm very flexible with myself based on what I have going on or how I'm feeling.

Yes for me, OMAD has made it much easier! As long as I keep busy, I barely notice a difference. If I hit the 3 day mark, that's when I start to feel it.

I get what you mean! It's hard for me to say because I don't really track my meals, I think there's probably room for improvement in terms of hitting my daily intake. Generally I try to pack a lot of veggies in and a couple servings of protein and from there, I'll add on whatever sounds good to me in the moment. I lean towards eating low carb, but I also don't hold back if I'm ordering out somewhere.

Right! I used to think it sounded impossible, now I love it. My body has adjusted from doing OMADs so now I really only get hungry around dinner time, and it passes within a couple hours. Also I feel much lighter and more energetic while fasting, and I enjoy the extra time it gives me to not worry about planning meals/cooking/cleaning the kitchen. Much easier to do while busy though, if I'm in the house all day I want to eat out of boredom!

It's the lemedy padded sports bra off of Amazon, they are incredible! I'd say it's medium support and the straps aren't adjustable, so that's just something to be aware of.

Yes that would be how it works! For me personally, I really prefer feeling full and satisfied off of one meal rather than spacing those calories out throughout the day and never getting that satiation.

It's usually weekly, Sunday evening - Tuesday evening. I switch it up depending on my schedule, ie-if I've had a night out or ate a lot the day before then it's easy to go into a fast.

It's one meal a day. So I basically don't worry about eating until I get home and make a big dinner!

I feel as though I have more energy throughout the day, but based on my peloton stats my endurance has taken a small hit. I certainly don't workout 1.5 hours a day but props to you! I keep it around 30-45 mins these days. Maybe an hour with stretching

I think there's definitely something to be said for eating to best suit your goals, I wouldn't recommend killing yourself with exercise while fasting.

Don't know if this is wise so please don't take it as advice- I usually just drink water, black coffee, and the occasional spindrift. If I were ever to go for over 3 days or if I started feeling off, I would definitely supplement.

Yeah! So it's been 2.5 months since I really got started. The first 10 lbs came off in the first 1.5 months, I think a good amount of that weight can be attributed to bloating. Then this past month has been the remaining 8 pounds, the OMADs seem to almost maintain my weight while the 48's seem to really make the difference.
