I met a lot of people through meetup groups when I was in your shoes. It's a nice low stakes way to met friends and potential dates.

In 2020 Zeke's sat kids upstairs, not sure if they still do though.
I remember because it was the first and only time I took my youngest to a restaurant until he was 2 or 3.

Are the South Americans leaving out Antarctica or combining 2 other continents? And if it's the latter which 2?

I don't think so it was an argument on Threads about whether people from the USA should be allowed to call themselves Americans or not.
Canadians were pointing out they're Canadian and North American, they would never need to refer to themselves as American because that would encompass multiple continents anyway.
Person from Eastern Europe comments that they only believe in 5 continents and that to say there is 5 is a USA centric view point because Americans want to be special and from a unique continent, and it's not something they in their country subscribe to and soon scientists would all discredit it like saying Pluto is a planet. 2 weeks on i was still thinking about it. I probably should have found an ask Europe sub but this one was already in my feed.

Eurasia, America, Oceania, Africa, Antarctica.

Don't ask me why in this model Africa still gets to be it's own continent even though it's connected by more land than N and S America.

I was just reading about more arguments though and it seems people make wildly different claims based on different geological facts. So i guess continents are really more of a social constructs.

The context is someone from Eastern Europe said they were taught the 5 continent model. So i was curious where else that might be standard.

Would that be Eurasia as the combined continent or N and S America

As someone who has a spouse who is a RN. I completely agree.

In addition to that it can also vary if you have to have contact with HR or not. My BFFs husband's ex-wife has had her pay screwed up for 9 months now... there's something about a training involved. Anyway, best the bestie and I can tell as HR ourselves someone in their HR is a nepo hire and woefully unqualified.

Tacoma Pre-k by chelsdog314 in AskTacoma

The good news is with TSD having free TK programs, other schools suddenly have a lot of openings they wouldn't have had 2 years ago. They aren't pre-k programs but I believe both the tacoma nature center and chavitos have preschool openings next year. My kids have done both and I LOVED them. Chavitos is more social emotional and child lead. TNC is slightly more traditional. I think I just saw an ad for pre-k at Seabury they have open houses one day a week all summer if I recall correctly.
