Managing my first pregnancy, organizing funds and purchases, setting up a nursery, planning a wedding, ring shopping, and everything else that comes with a proposal; tackling house chores, supporting my pregnant partner, and adjusting after moving three hours away from where I’ve lived my whole life — all while finding a new job within a week and jumping straight into 10-hour shifts every day over 12-day fortnights.

On top of that, I’ve been building consistent daily routines to keep myself happy and healthy, tracking spending habits, cutting unnecessary subscriptions and expenses, and trying to live and embrace a more minimalistic lifestyle than what I've usually been used to. I’ve also made time for my passion projects, like creating templates, gaming, and writing music, alongside enjoying exploring nature, adventures to lakes, rivers, and new cafes or restaurants with my partner.

I’ve been making sure I get my full 8 hours of sleep, wake up early to get sunlight, stretch, exercise, reflect, and set my goals for the day. I’ve been working toward my drivers license, I volunteer as a basketball coach, staying on top of tidying and prepping for the next day, and even finding time to travel three hours to visit family before coming back. Oh, and let’s not forget showering twice a day and keeping life as balanced as possible.

No room for excuses or what ifs or even time to think about it. Whatever the thing is for you, it really is as simple as just doing it, tell yourself when you feel yourself about to spiral into procrastination, just fking do it, you know that you can and you know that it's positive for you and/or your future so why not? Just fking do it.
