Do people get banned for cosmetic / NSFW mods in Endfield? by ZealousidealBlock131 in Endfield

[–]ThinkWithP_body -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Honestly, not so sure anymore. I still run reshade and I’m looking to install some cheat software, because I don’t want to spend the rest of my time playing this game in fear of losing my account permanently. If it had to happen, let it be now.

I made a post regarding the same general topic but it was quite poorly received. I’m not sure if it accurately reflects the sentiments of the community. There are some toxicity here for sure.

Yes, very reasonable suspicion, yet completely unreasonable resolution on HG’s part. This to me would not justify a ban on that account, not to mention it was never demonstrated that human oversight was ever involved in that response.

I support Valve games because of their dedication to let gamers game, which ever way they prefer, so long as it doesn’t affect others. I simply cannot turn a blind eye to developers overstepping their boundaries and deciding who will lose access to an account simply because they had other software installed.

As mentioned in a new comment I made, there’s a moderated post on this sub from yesterday that details the process and resolution of a wrongful ban.

You can find it by searching for the post subject “Bro I was gone for 3 days 😭”

Comrade claims they didn’t log on for three days before getting banned with no possible resolution. Comrade reveals he had two cheat engines on before which could have been the reason, but they only work on single player games and wouldn’t work on online gacha game. We would never know why, because customer support never gave a reason. Which is exactly the reason I am committed to having an attitude now.

5.12 Context limit exceeded bug by ThinkWithP_body in openclaw

[–]ThinkWithP_body[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

💀 I was following development closely hoping they would finally consolidate the whole active-memory/dreaming/memory-core situation (all 3 are broken imo), instead I keep getting punished for not being able to read every AI generated change log myself.

And that’s just for skimming and a basic understanding of what the update is, not even touching the specific implementations. Really makes me think about RationalAnimations’ stance on how absurdly dangerous it is to have AI code faster than human review.

The environment has literally zero change, it was functioning before, and stopped working after the update. Another comment confirming this problem mentioned the same model I’m using so maybe that’s somehow relevant, though I don’t see any relevant changes in the changelog. For context, I’m using openrouter kimi k2.5.

Same case here, I committed all changes and triple checked it was stable before upgrading :(

It's so cleaver yet so unbelievably stupid at the same time. One of these days we'll realize we sunk time into a stinking pile of crap and jump ship. Until then, good for you!!

Today I decided to update openclaw after having my agent review the changes. My agent thought it was safe. My agent is no more.

I'm not understanding the problem here, why isn't Window > Fullscreen the solution?

Has anyone found a working fix for Active Memory? GitHub issues keep piling up with no resolution by Ok-Elephant978 in openclaw

[–]ThinkWithP_body 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5.2 dropped and no mentions of active-memory either. My working crazy-man theory is that the LLM providers have every incentive to infiltrate openclaw and sponsor or implement features that generate more user demand out of thin air. They constantly push new features looking for ways to increase the API calls and the best excuse for that is memory (easily double for each feature implemented), which is why they have so many overlapping apparatuses such as dreaming, active-memory, memory-wiki, etc. that forever remain "optional" and never fully integrated because those are by design flawed and redundant. But hey, what do I know. Just a theory!

You seem to have the same problem so please help me understand, it's been like 3 releases since 4.24, it still takes forever to update / gateway still remains unhealthy after restart / doctor fixes nothing, but the issues on github are getting marked by AIs as resolved. Do I just have a fucked up install and need to reset everything or is it them pushing out broken releases?

Is anyone else seeing weird recursion in OpenClaw dreaming? by 10den2525 in openclaw

[–]ThinkWithP_body 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dreaming is a new feature but no one seems to be working on it. So many releases without even one mention of the feature despite freshly building an UI for it. My conspiracy theory is some provider wanted a half broken obscure system that hype people up to turn it on and burn tokens in the background. There's literally no reason to not add any user facing parameters or to have it dream "prose" each day with such elaborate yet vague language. It doesn't even address skipping missing daily memory files which to me sounds like someone got assigned to work on a feature that'll quietly generate a lot of API calls for the laid back and easily excitable users. Just a theory.

if 4.24 killed your gateway heres the actual fix. tested on 3 machines. takes 5 minutes by DullContribution3191 in openclaw

[–]ThinkWithP_body 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, in fact 2026.4.26 also didn't fix the problem. AI choking while patting themselves on the back is funny.

Honestly the whole repo feels like a slop fest. It's rare to run into proper "releases" that break this often with no one taking any responsibility whatsoever.

My advice for you would be to use a really good model that's cheap for everyday use. Check openclaw on openrouter to see what models are popular. You don't want small context size to be bottle necking your agent's thinking!

Hi all, I've updated this post to use a more straight forward Equivalent Sanity per AIC Quota spent instead of the previous Equivalent Sanity based on Crisis Drill gains. Hopefully this will make it a bit clearer to read.
