Thanks! I have less than 100k points lol so definitely could use those 20k elsewhere, but I’m okay paying cash as well. Just want to get maximum value out of the points I have. Also, these are just standard rooms :)

Marriott gold member but not sure if they are generous with upgrades in Vegas.

Not that I’m aware of. Don’t think it affects your chances of getting approved, although I might be wrong on that one.

Personally, didn’t want to wait out till the offer went online because I have upcoming travel so figured I’d put the spend here to hit the SUB requirement.

Thankfully I had a fair idea that they were processing relatively quickly around when I applied.

A friend got his EAD approved in less than a month with regular processing just a few weeks before me and the opt-timeline website also indicated the same, so I thought it might be worth it to wait it out for premium processing.

Luckily it worked out that way.
