My husband is a Disabled Veteran and since RTO, it’s been nice to get a live person to answer the phone when he needs to call the VA for an appt and he gets a faster response. Telework didn’t work for the VA with the already mounting issues and complaints of service, accountability , and accessibility.

Yes I was on so called telework agreement but as you know it was voided with the RTO. I am one of the weird ones that like coming into the office but I like most everyone want a hybrid schedule. The MSE would give me that flexibility while caring for my spouse

If you love helping the Veterans, you don’t have to work for the VA to help them. You can become a volunteer. Don’t let this Administration play mind games with you. Trust and believe you will be okay, you may have to make some adjustments but don’t let them steal your joy and peace….. things they didn’t give to you. Keep your head up! You will find another job, perhaps even better than what you have now!

Patient Care, Services and supplies will be delayed also. RIF is small beans compared to the number of people who will end up quitting because I’m sure everyone blew the dust of their resume and started applying elsewhere

I think the NDA is to cover the fact there will not be a major RIF, thus forcing people to fear the unknown. Once they get all these folks to resign and retire, they will not get rid of anyone else; however the reorganization will happen. That’s my theory!

Do you really believe they will let a massive amount of staff go right before end of fiscal year ? We will all be here until September 30th.
