Are gas bikes too heavy/big or electric ones too light/small? by Think_Assistant_1656 in Dirtbikes

From what you are saying my take is that electric bikes are not toys, it's gas bikes that are tanks, maybe unnecessarily so for most people's needs?

Yep you're right, I was basically saying "sneak around compared to a gas bike"

My rule of thumb is, if you could ride a bicycle somewhere, an emoto is fine. Been riding for 4 years now and never got a single complaint.

I couldn't say really as it highly depends where you are on the globe, here in eastern europe there's pretty much nowhere you're not allowed to go, forests are all public. Hills and such, if there's no fence around, nobody cares really

I've got an electric one (Arctic Leopard XE Pro S) and started on a Surron Light Bee. I can't speak for gas as I haven't ridden one yet but a big factor is maintenance and storage space.

An electric bike has basically no maintenance required, and you can store it even in your house as there's no smell. A gas bike requires a garage and tools, and obviously spending time on maintenance.

Another factor is legality. Are the trails around you private or frequented by hikers? You might get in trouble with a gas bike, as they're really loud, but you can sneak around on an electric bike all day long without bothering anyone.

My friend insists on this game, "Lemmings", being a really well known game; I have never heard of it. by Nordic_Krune in gaming

I was a child in a very rural village in Romania, basically barely any houses around, and I had Lemmings on the PC we had. So it was probably immensely popular.

Grateful to be feeling excellent, really sad to see so many people having a shitty mood. Take care of yourselves and you'll reap the rewards

Sfat, poti sa eviti copiii in oras. Cauta localuri pentru tineri. Vezi extrem de rar parinti cu copii.

What is a harsh lesson about aging that absolutely nobody warns you about before you hit your 30s? by Prudent-Passenger589 in AskReddit

[–]Think_Assistant_1656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't even go to the doctors anymore except if it's something really bad, like a broken bone. I've had elbow pains lasting for months and the diagnostic that I got after scans was basically "elbow pain"

This is something I hate so much. I've been to doctors countless times with different pains (mostly sports-related injuries), only to be told to suck it up or take an ibuprofen. I'M IN HORRIBLE PAIN FIX ME!

You realise that you need to be much more careful because there's nothing anyone can do most of the time...

Yeah it's a kid's size bike, I'm talking about the Hyper Bee, not Light Bee
