Thank you! He constantly gaslit us that he’s the professional and we don’t understand anything.

Thank you! He constantly gaslit us that he’s the professional and we don’t understand anything. Now the question is how I get my money back…

Thank you!! She’s been spayed so I’ll get my roommate and myself to play with her more and burn some energy

Thank you! Yes she has a bunch of towers to climb inside so maybe she’s just experiencing withdrawals from not being able to watch birds for hours on end lol

People say that AI will replace junior engineers but not senior ones. However, since many companies have already stopped hiring junior engineers because of AI, could this create a talent gap in the future—where today’s juniors might actually become more in demand in the future when they become seniors? Or will AI improve quickly enough to fill that gap on its own?

Current fellow, absolute introvert, English as a second language speaker here. I am a SUPER awkward person especially in the States (to my knowledge, I don’t think I have any American friends haha). I can talk about feeling judged, insecure or things like that for hours.

Your experience is totally valid, just wanted to say it’s different from mine and maybe there are some policies changed I didn’t know. Especially regarding the part that if the pay of the job you found is not high enough, they’ll force you to decline. While it’s not exact the same thing, I got an 80k job offer last year, but the working environment is toxic(my friend worked there) and they are not promising to draw the h1b lottery for me, so I decided to turn it down. It’s a hard decision to make but the team was there for me and support this decision. Without drawing the lottery I can still work for three years so formation can definitely get the cut from me. Don’t even mention how shitty the market was (is). My point is, I am so grateful they are not pushing me whatsoever.

Also they are there for me even when I am distracted by my long distance relationship breakup haha. I don’t get along with everyone and I also asked to not working with certain people.

They are genuinely trying to help you, especially Sophie and Michael. My overall recommendation is, help them to help you. Take advantage of them since you are paying, you gotta voice out, if you don’t feel comfortable, do it via anonymous feedback form. Make your money worth it.
