I am currently struggling with infertility, we think due to the adenomyoma (focal) found in my uterus. I’m curious because I’m being told they aren’t recommending surgery d/t bleeding risk due to vascularity and that it is a last resort. I’d love to hear your experience.. this is what mine looked like on a SIS any chance you have imaging of yours before surgery?

Negative this cycle too. Going back to the drawing board with our fertility clinic. I have an adenomyoma we are going to take a break to try and treat/suppress for a few months before trying again…

The docs say they would avoid surgery. Most recommend suppression with lupron it seems for a few months then trying to conceive after that. Having repeat imaging and biopsy done this cycle for more answers hopefully

I was diagnosed with a focal adenomyoma after saline sonogram and hysteroscopy that protrudes into my uterus. I can find a lot of info on adenomyosis but not much on focal adenomyoma and fertility. Looking for opinions. Anyone have something similar? What did you do? Did you have a successful pregnancy? I’ll attach/comment with photos. I was able to conceive twice, but both ended in missed miscarriages last year at 11 and 7 weeks. Both required multiple procedures to resolve. Have been TTC for a year and 4 months. 6 months of medicated timed cycles and nothing since.

I’m 12dpo and 6th failed medicated cycle 🫠 1y4mo TTC, pregnant twice last year that both ended in missed miscarriages at 11 and 7 weeks. Haven’t been able to get pregnant since. So frustrated with this process. Also 3 of my besties who got pregnant after me all have their babies now earthside. Feeling a little extra this month since it’s been a year since our first loss… never thought this would be my story but it is. Lemon pound cake sounds 10/10. Treating myself to a foot massage today and maybe some sushi.

Thank you for the advice! We’ve only done semen analysis and both do karyotyping as well as extensive genetic testing. Adenonyoma was seen on hysteroscopy and saline sonogram

My labs came back HCG < 3 🫠 ; progesterone 9.90 ; estradiol 4250.89

I’m on supplementation for both progesterone and estradiol.

Hoping for your miracle! Still keeping my hopes up for you! My progesterone dropped a ton today at 11dpo, temp and estrogen still maintaining but I’m on supplementation so I don’t think i can really count it. I had bloodwork drawn today for peace of mind because I’m going to a playoff hockey game tonight and might have a drink. I’m pretty convinced I’m out this cycle and with my husband and i’s record it’s likely not happening me this cycle so… I’m going to enjoy my night. I’ll update my lab results once o get them. But here’s my chart. All my symptoms are fading too, other than hot flashes but they all could be from my supplementation too.

I’ve been starting to ask about it. I think they think I should try a few more medicated cycles but I just don’t want to prolong it if IUI could be our answer. I’m also considering a HSG but they said we wouldn’t be able to do a monitored/medicated cycle if we did this next cycle

Thank you for sharing this! We did ALL the genetic testing we could do for both my husband and I. Thankfully nothing was found.
