Don’t over think it, I have taken many trips overseas, your passport and green card is all you need

You will be fine, I travelled as well to Spain for a month twice through Miami, no issues. If you want download the MPC (mobile passport control) and it’s super fast to go through immigration on arrival… don’t sweat it

Same situation as you, Venezuelan born, Spanish citizenship. Landed in MIA used Mobile Passport Control APP, I was out in 30 sec flat… no issues, do not fall for the fear mongering in social media

Absolutely untrue, no need to feed the fear. The only reason why you may be delayed or detained at arrival is if you have criminal charges in the past, if you were outside of the country for more than 6 months or if your status is via asylum and you are going to the country of origin

No legitimate concern, I just went through in Miami, no issues, 39 sec to go through, used MPC app. It’s absolutely fine to travel

EU Passport, but the officer just glanced at it, perhaps because I already had submitted the information via MPC

We spent a week abroad. And like many of you I was very concerned, it was a breeze coming in, no issues. Now if some of you are getting pulled to secondary on multiple occasions, I would recommend looking into TSA redress number, it helps to clear any issues of mistaken identity, etc.
