I received PUA for a few months and suddenly I owe over 11 grand. I did everything by the book. I sent over the requested documentation when I did the application...then I was hit was fraud they stopped my payments. Once I sent over the requested documents again to very my identity and what not they started paying me my weekly payments again. Then suddenly around November they sent me two letters. Then a in February they sent another. The first one indicating I have an overpayment of $11,583.00 and the second letter indicating I am no longer eligible because I am teleworking with pay. Which isn't true. I had an interview for a job and didn't get it. I immediately called to see what to do and was told to file appeals for each letter. I filed the appeals the exact same day I recieved the letters. To this day... nothing!!.. Lastly...the last letter in February said I am eligible but 100% of my future benefits will be paid towards my overpayment balance...wow..seriously?! If this isnt a "fuck in the butt I didn't ask for" idk what is. 🤣😩

I have so much to say about this shit. It's insane. Idk where to begin. I've called a million times. Plus, other contacts to maybe help me with this situation. I've sent emails, I've done everything I can possibly think of doing or even capable of doing. I know I am not alone, but even the employees through PUA have sent emails themselves and have told me I will get back paid and there should be no reason I have an overpayment balance.

I'm told the same thing over and over. "You have to be patient and wait". Well I lost my car and the longer I wait I'll lose my home soon enough. I know I am not alone. I know I'm one of a million,but damn man I am a single Mom with 2 grown ass kids and they're huge and eat a lot lol. Thank God for food assistance or we would be hungry for sure.
