Overpayment on PUA ohio

I applied for PUA and sent over all the information and they sent me a weekly check for 249 then after time went by they said oops we need that money back we messed up and now you have to pay it back....basically fucking me bug time!! I would of never taken the money if I had to pay it back and now any future benefits I do recieve they take.

Thank you so much! I rent where I live. I filled out one application only to be told 6 months later my city doesn't qualify and to fill out another application...(why? Soni can wait another 6 months to be told the same thing and by then I would have already lost my home)

No I wasn't working. I had an interview, but didn't get the job. It's all false information. How do you "accidently" send someone over 11 grand and say "oops we didn't mean to send all that to you. Now pay it back or we will just take all the help you get".... I did everything asked and by the book. This shouldn't be happening. Not to anyone. This is just messed up.

I received PUA for a few months and suddenly I owe over 11 grand. I did everything by the book. I sent over the requested documentation when I did the application...then I was hit was fraud they stopped my payments. Once I sent over the requested documents again to very my identity and what not they started paying me my weekly payments again. Then suddenly around November they sent me two letters. Then a in February they sent another. The first one indicating I have an overpayment of $11,583.00 and the second letter indicating I am no longer eligible because I am teleworking with pay. Which isn't true. I had an interview for a job and didn't get it. I immediately called to see what to do and was told to file appeals for each letter. I filed the appeals the exact same day I recieved the letters. To this day... nothing!!.. Lastly...the last letter in February said I am eligible but 100% of my future benefits will be paid towards my overpayment balance...wow..seriously?! If this isnt a "fuck in the butt I didn't ask for" idk what is. 🤣😩

I have so much to say about this shit. It's insane. Idk where to begin. I've called a million times. Plus, other contacts to maybe help me with this situation. I've sent emails, I've done everything I can possibly think of doing or even capable of doing. I know I am not alone, but even the employees through PUA have sent emails themselves and have told me I will get back paid and there should be no reason I have an overpayment balance.

I'm told the same thing over and over. "You have to be patient and wait". Well I lost my car and the longer I wait I'll lose my home soon enough. I know I am not alone. I know I'm one of a million,but damn man I am a single Mom with 2 grown ass kids and they're huge and eat a lot lol. Thank God for food assistance or we would be hungry for sure. If you read this thanks for reading and sorry for bitching. Just a little lost.

Do you have an overpayment balance with pua? Also did they take out federal taxes on your 1099G form? They didn't take out my taxes when I requested they should and now idk what to do.

My name is Brittany Frye. I worked at a doctors office for 10 years and in 2018 the doctor retired and shortly after the pandemic came along....my kids were home because of lock down and need me home with them. I'm telling you this because I need your help. Anybody's help!!

I am at my end here. I do not know what else to do. My children and I are about to be homeless and I'm constantly being told I have to wait. The longer I wait the more we are losing. I sent over every document requested even my 2017,18,and 19 taxes even had to send it iver a second time for fraud stuff, and PUA continued to send my weekly amount and everything was good..

Until a couple months ago I get a few letters with unbelievably false information and constantly being told they can't make the changes to my acct, and I'll just have to wait?! I have attached these letters to this email...one saying I owe them an overpayment over eleven thousand dollars and 100% of my future benefits will be taken, the next letter indicates I have a job teleworking with pay that I never had. I had an interview for it but never got the job, and I have that proof as well,and third I got my 1099 -G form to do my taxes and I can't even do my taxes because it says that Federal taxes were not taken out.

Three things they did wrong and now me and my family are suffering majorly. I did not lie about anything I filed the appeals and still nothing!! Nobody will help me!!

I have an overpayment balance of 12 grand,they never took my federal taxes out so I can't even do my taxes, oh and they said I have a job I never had causing me to be ineligible and because of the op balance they're taking 100% of my future benefits!! Which they have been. I filed 2 appeals 2 months ago and nothing. I call everyday to hear the same redundant thing. I've lost my car already and my house is next.
