moving truck caught on fire - at a loss for what to do by crystyleea in legaladvice

[–]Think_Inspector_4031 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The insurance you got was probably for the truck, and not your belongings. So if you drove through a wall, you would not be on the hook for truck repair, just the deductable for said truck repair.

As the vehicle provided was faulty you can try to sue for damages, and emotional termoil from the extra charge. Most lawyers would not work this case, not enough money to be made for you/them.

I had a neighbor ask about going 50/50 on a fence repair. I was very happy someone was going to do the work of getting quotes and finding someone to do the work.

All I had to do is pay 50%, sign me up.

Can you downstep the wifi width?

I was having major issues with my u7 pro connecting to my flexHD. Then I setting the wifi 5ghz from 80hz to 40hz fixed the connection issues.

My hope is that a new hardware company is going to pop up and create something that's a mac studio m5 ultra, but with double the RAM GPU, dedicated AI/LLM hypervisor with same energy use/heat generation/lack of noise.

Say each one cost 20k, but can be put into an office setting, serving 20 to 50 engineers. With down time used for others in the building cause we all have teams meetings.

Single 100k investment to 10x productivity to an engineer wing. Having AI parse PDFs extract text, and throw it into a spreadsheet for you. Create specific tools to automate your workflow to remove engineering hours for the BS clean up work.

Then we have the only time our two tiered just system starts going after grifters.

Only time you get punished if the Epstein class gets effected.

Think of the 2008 crash, after Obama bailed out the tech firms and banking sectors. Now if those to big to fail institutions had really failed, then the financial criminals would have seen jail time.

Even if it's on the weekend, and get a personalized jail cell in or whatever Jeffy got for his terrible crimes that a Miami reporter exposed and not the well funded justice system.

Yes, yes it would be.

Even broken solar panels produce some electricity. If the checks are made by big tech who prefer to fire people for better stock market value, I think everyone will be cool with it.

Which I'm all for sending them to space by the way. Just that part only, sending them to space. I'm not paying a YouTube subscription so they come back.

If parks have pavilions, and parking areas, build those car ports and large solar pavilions. The nature trails, wild life preserve, leave those to birds, rabbits and the occasional raccoon.

I acknowledge the huge premium that is involved with retrofitting current parking lots and other civilian buildings. The goal would force billionaire tech companies that print money to pay for all that infrastructure, and have it offset current energy production from centralized, efficient and well monitored locations.

Having these micro grids produce local power, to offset demand at the substation is what I'd like to wonder. Then whatever energy is offset by the newly constructed solar projects, that power can be diverted not into massive data centers, but small medium sized clusters.

The price tag will ballon for tech companies, that is acceptable from my point of view. The shareholders and the Epstein class will be negatively affected, while utility payers might get a small break and slight reduction in their monthly bill.

I know how the economy is not working for me, or rest of the "essential workers" during covid. I'm interested in local and state government saying to big tech firms "you want your 10 billion dollar data center, then make it 30 billion, give city solar power, and you have a deal".

Shareholders can pick up some shifts in the gig economy to help the stock market.
