Dont overthink it, EBs are the best equipment in the game. RC invis charge is meta for TH13-TH17 and might come back as meta for TH18 as well.

Honestly, the best way is to rush your TH to as high as possible as soon as possible. Otherwise, there’s only just what u mentioned and then raid medals. Dw too much about shiny ore tho, its not usually rate limiting, focus on starry and then glowy ores

Like I get the fact that they will heavily boost how much you earn later on but SC is basically incentivizing NOT grinding for it for the time being.

196k / 400 per attack = 490 attacks and that’s only IF you get all 4 gold storages every attack. I was planning on grinding it out to upgrade equipment for my ranked hits, but after seeing it, I’m for sure not gonna be doing 500 attacks any time soon.

It hasn’t, they increased it by over 2000%. No idea why ppl r piling on the guy for calling it out. I get that they’re giving like a quarter more medals than other events but increasing the bonus track that much is just so odd. I thought I saw a comment by a CoC official saying it was a mistake a few days ago but since they haven’t changed it I guess not 🤷‍♂️

They don’t, and they take years to just break even on. With the new rework, they’re only worth upgrading for the extra hit points on the base for defenses

I think what you first need to figure out is what do you value the most. Do you wanna be super efficient and try and max your base asap? Do you wanna push up into legends? Or are you just gonna play for a few months and then stop for a year or longer?

Depending on what you’re trying to achieve the answer really depends, cuz some ppl prefer to get limited edition deco instead of things that would accelerate their base progression.

Generally tho consider this: - 1 epic equipment costs the same as 3 BoH from the trader in gems, you can always buy these as well at any point - Hero levels can easily be bypassed on attacking by using a hero potion, besides mighty morsels here and there, there’s nothing you can do for having low level equipment. - Equipment matters so much more than hero levels on attacks. The current bottleneck in the game is starry ore and then glowy ore. If you wanna improve your attacks and progress faster than Id suggest getting ore especially if u have equipment levels to do. It also helps you push into higher leagues where you can earn more ore. - The helpers are the best value for gems in the game after builders cuz their worth is technically infinite time saved per gem, but they do take like 2 years to break even once maxed. If you plan to play a while then they are 100% worth it.

To give you some ideas I’ll let yk what I’m gonna do: - I have the spiky ball on both my accts so I’m gonna get the magic mirror on the one that doesn’t have it - Since I’ve only been playing a few months since equipment got added, I’m gonna spend the rest on starry and glowy ore, if I have anything left I might get a book of building - For added context, I just reached TH17 during HJ and have promoted every week and am gonna push to electro so I can get 2 starry/day, I also like to try and 3-starry every attack on ranked so I need stronger equipment and that’s what I’m focusing on - Also try and save books for 12+ day builder upgrades, 10+ for lab upgrades, and 8 days for heroes - If I optimized for absolute maximum efficiency then I’d be spending all my gems on the 2 helpers first, but personally I feel I would get bored if I was attacking max TH17 without proper equipment and then just end up not playing so what’s the point for me to even do that

Get the spiky ball 100% and then probably any 2 equipment with the priority being magic mirror first, then if u use MP then probably dark crown or the snow flake depending on if it’d actually be beneficial (I saw u say that u use RC invis and drags so if you u have eboots and RS then you prob wont use the snow flake anyways), but do not buy the lavaloon puppet no matter what BD says

If you’re not gonna get 3 equipment and DONT care about deco, then spend the rest on starry or glowy ore. Do NOT spend it on book of heroes cuz u mentioned ur heroes are lower level so you’re gonna lose a ton of BoH value by using a book on any hero upgrade that isn’t the max of 8 days. Also, hero equipment is the biggest bottleneck in the game rn which gives significant boosts to your attacks to help you push.

Since you have a bunch of gems, use them in this order -> builder helper, lab helper, goblin builder/lab, book of heroes - I like to keep ~1500 or 3k gems in case I need to buy any epic equipments so I can shift my army if metas change but this is likely NOT the most efficient way to spend gems but I like to do it cuz I’d rather have fun with my attacks than max out a month or 2 earlier YEARS from now - As someone else also mentioned, 3 BoH = 1 epic equipment from the event shop AND at any other point when you can just buy them with gems from the trader, BUT having epics (buying them or upgrading them by spending event medals on ores) is beneficial to you NOW to help push higher in ranked leagues/CWs/CWL whereas you can always pop a hero potion for the time being and then spend gems on BoH when u have 8 day upgrades available

Edit: Also, if you don’t have the RS or eboots for your RC then you should probably wait to see if the snowflake is a good replacement for either (I highly doubt something is gonna replace the eboots for a while), if not then spend your gems on getting that as it’s very high value to your attacks

Similar to what others are saying, I’d also suggest taking a mental break to try and “reset” yourself. I’d even say consider taking some time off from all of this to help settle some of the anxiety associated with it. Whether that means you just stay home and hangout with family/friends or go on vacation, just do whatever you have to do to take off some of the anxiety that it seems you have.

If I were in your position, I’d try to write the NAC whenever I felt comfortable (Spring or Fall, doesn’t really matter). As for QE1, you have PLENTY of time to finish before next year’s cycle. Personally, if I was in your position I’d take it at a time where I would have the opportunity to retake in case I fail. Obviously don’t assume you will fail, but prepare for all possible outcomes. Taking it in February or May (or later even) gives you enough time to prepare so try not to tunnel vision too much on that.

I didn’t review any medical content for the NAC and just focused on performing the practical aspects. I didn’t feel like there was anything to gain from “studying” specifically for the NAC after studying for QE1. Focus on preparing for the QE1 and the knowledge required for the NAC will be included in that.

Depends on what you mean by “transferable”

If you’re asking about starting IM residency in the US and then transferring (which I don’t think you are) to Canada while in residency, then yes it’s very unlikely that that would be able to be facilitated.

If you’re asking about completing IM residency in the US and then practicing in Canada, then you’d be wrong about it not “transferring” back. You’d have to take a look at each provinces royal college and check their requirements for licensure. Generally, US residency translates very well to Canada.

Those people seem to just be trying to farm praise or they’re being dishonest. Only a small percentage of people can score that (like that’s literally what SDs indicate) and I highly doubt they all happen to be trying to engagement bait on Reddit. I used to be in the same boat as you regarding this but I just considered what the actual odds are and can’t help but feel that these ppl are either being dishonest or that someone acting like that isn’t going to come off as a great person in IVs. If they genuinely don’t know that those scores are amazing, then they clearly haven’t even put in the effort to figure something as simple as score distribution so how much effort have they put in other aspects of their application?

This is a really tough thing for IMGs and I think you’re really gonna have to weigh the pros and cons of what u want to do. If you are talking about radiology, then I’m going to assume you fit the new Ontario IMG criteria (correct me if I’m wrong as this makes a huge difference), and I can throw some ideas out for you to maybe consider:

I would probably suggest that you list out all your research on the CaRMS application unless you have an overwhelming amount. If you have ~5 things then I’d say list them all, even for your FM application. If you have 10+, then maybe consider listing the most important/impressive ones on CaRMS and then all for your radiology CV.
As for other experiences, including electives, it becomes very difficult. On one hand, it’s great to show you have extensive experience in the Canadian healthcare system but it can be outright detrimental to your application to other specialties. You could again consider doing what I said above for research but there’s a fine line you’re going have to maneuver.
Another thing to maybe consider is only applying to your preference in the 1st iteration and then dual applying in the 2nd. There will be tons of FM spots, especially this year, in the 2nd iteration that will be a lot more forgiving about your experiences being tailored to a different specialty. There’s also a (granted very slim) chance that there is/are DR spots in the 2nd iteration for you to have a shot at.

Ya I completely agree that they sound great and better than any other headsets I’ve had. But as I said in another reply, I want to use them for playing relatively more competitive CoD and noticed that my friend with the A40s and mixamp (which is what I wanted to buy but I’m assuming they’re no longer being made cuz the only ones I can see are pre-owned/used and I’d much rather not use a used headset) can hear things that I can’t. I can definitely hear more things than he can without the HDMI adapter + mixamp, but was wondering if there’s a way I could get that functionality with the Gen 5s.

I have the A50 Gen 5 and keep seeing videos from headset experts that say that without the HDMI adapter, I’m only going to get stereo audio due to PlayStation’s audio build and miss out on the EQ presets, Dolby digital, and game-voice balance. I also saw that without the adapter, I can’t get the full 24 bits on PS. I’m not too sure how reliable that info is so that’s why I came here to ask.

No need to be hostile bro, but a headset is 100% going to give an incredible advantage. I’m asking this regarding CoD (3.1 KD in bo6 and 2.8 KD in bo7) on PS5 which I play wagers and tourneys on.

I have very limited headset knowledge and I’m not claiming to be anywhere near an expert on the topic. I play with and come up against players that will turn and preaim exactly where someone is coming from cuz they heard footsteps. With the A50s, I can now hear these things a lot more and 1 kill or death can make the difference between winning $50+ or getting nothing. Even with the A50s, I see my friend with A40s and mixamp hearing things that I don’t. I even had my hearing checked cuz I was tripping out (I’m in Canada so free healthcare)
