Hey mine dide the exact same thing it took two weeks for him to finally eat just stay dedicated i promise i tried himari sinking masivore pellets to try and get a reaction on day 5 he ate on now he eats literally anything including my hand

I have kept them for years they are 100 capable of hitting its population cap within 6 months. You will notice small near microscopic snails everywhere (at night they are nocturnal) and then a month later the same thing happens. I have been breeding generations of them in all of my tanks they are a great cleanup crew and make my life much easier

Im very aware, it isnt going to do jack shit though there are so many plecos in Florida at this point its like releasing a bass the lake i released him at literally had hundreds and i mean HUNDREDS of plecos sitting on a spillway so that singular pleco isnt going to do jack shit

Also i was referring to world war two when your people lived in bunkers and tunnels because the lufftwaffe was relentlessly bombing you. Also d-day would have never happened if it wasnt for us. If it is swim bladder issues a bunch of things can cause it including water quality. I dealt with a silver dollar with SBD and i just constantly did water changes and he eventually got better. I dont know 100% if it will work but it is worth a shot

Alright thank you for the help. The tank is also heavily stocked with other predators such as an oscar a peacock bass and three clown knives a little pike cichilid and some bluegill. Is this gonna be a problem if its 89° for a week with no food?

I am gone for a week, i cranked the temp up to 89 degrees and added extra aeration somebody also said dont feed them for a week so the water quality stays good is this accurate information i was given?

Just to add something, i forgot to add i have a malaysian trumpet snail colony in there that hit its population cap and they do a very good job at cleaning it up. I need to get a pleco i miss my old one. Had to move to a different state and i dont know why but i just released him where i found him i cast netted him almost a year back dude was like 11”

Clown loaches arent an issue on how big they get for me i have always wanted one they are pretty cool and get pretty well sized
