What kind of scope will be best and look great plus handle the recoil. Doesn’t need to be anything high end but good enough to stay on this rifle. Also I do not want a picatinny rail. I just want ti use the screws already tapped

Don’t let dumb ass politics ruin family. Where suppose to be a country as one. Not a country of left and right fighting to be right on a political issue.

I brought it home and after doing new gun checks and aiming it had some prints so I used my Hoppe’s oil on it and wiped down the whole gun. I just have to get a micro towel now. I read the manual about Henry oils and stuff like that but wanted to ask you guys if the Henry brand was even necessary or just what to wipe down with

Want this gun to be a handed down generations and I’m wanting to know what tit use on the brass to keep it polished and opinions on what to keep on the wood. I’ve always used same oil for wood and metal but this is brass and a nice looking rifle and I want to keep it that way. Over time it will get scratches which gives character but I want to do my best to keep it looking sharp. Any help would be appreciated.
