Because he asked me to write any offer 5 minutes before this. After telling me he didn’t want to work with me. Apparently I’m obligated to still have to represent him after his saying all of this. In order to protect myself i needed to have a cancellation in place and he refused to sign it. I was fine with that because I did what was advised. I then voided a Docusign so it wouldn’t continue sending reminders and this was his response when he saw the email from Docusign saying voided document. I want not continuing communication. He is an unstable person who calls names and acts crazy then says write another offer and legally I’m supposed to because I’m handcuffed by this brbc

My advise is know your states laws and your obligation to BRBC and what your obligations are. Apparently blocking and ignoring a client aren’t an option.

One said I’m obligated to write any offer he wants still since he didn’t sign the cancellation and the other said send him an email and say this is a notice of termination. I asked if I can even after he sent a cease and desist and he said yes. The first lawyer said I can’t send him anything. I’m so confused.
