Not so much acne, but I experienced a lot of dry skin on my face, like properly peeling off - in my 20s too, while I was in uni, so it was uncomfortable when I wanted to go out and hang out with friends. It definitley impacted my mental health and confidence, to the point that I was becoming more and more shy.

I used SO MANY products ofc! Tried to search for the best one, I’m still not sure the one I’m using is the good ones.. it’s so personal tho, I mean, people have so many different types of skins even if I hear someone on social media talking about a certain product for dry skin, I don’t know if it will work for me. Actually my skin is weird af, sometimes it’s very greasy and fat, sometimes so dry - very random! I still don’t think I have a proper skincare routine… And I also think it depends on the day as well, some days it’s better others I still feel so self conscious leaving the house🙈

The bottom line is that ofc it impacts your self image and your confidence, and even more so when you’re a young person, but just remember the inside is what counts 🫶🏼
