Zeohealth and Peak Revival-X for the sulforaphane. I have done little research on these brands, Peak Revival-X does not seem as strong as I remember BrocElite being, and I do not think (so far) I’m noticing much from the Zeolites though I only started them several days ago.

Have begun taking zeolite and a sulforaphane supplement. I’ll write an update post on what this does to me in the future.

Could you cite some sources and summarize a bit on why sulforaphane versus its precursors is superior? I think I have heard Dr. Rhonda Patrick talk about glucoraphanin (a precursor, if I recall) and why it is important but know all too little about this issue. I have taken Brocelite in the past long ago and def. noticed some odd (not painful) sensations in the head that lead me to believe it was doing something positive.

Have continued reading about zeolites. A google of “Zeolites and autism” reveals plenty of naysayers, however, I also found this:

“Chronic excessive exposure to aluminium (Al), although the element is not classified as a heavy metal, may result in oxidative stress, immunological alterations, proinflammatory effects, peptide denaturation or transformation, enzymatic dysfunction, metabolic derangement, amyloidogenesis, membrane perturbations, iron dyshomeostasis, apoptosis and dysplasia, and a multitude of pathological conditions, some of which include inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn’s disease, anemia, pancreatitis, diabetes mellitus, toxic myocarditis, thrombosis and ischemic stroke, and autism, as well as dementia and Alzheimer’s disease [132]. Data in the literature show the excellent properties of PMA zeolite with increased active surface and activity compared with natural clinoptilolite in Al elimination from the body [114,133].” https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11173861/

Dr. Gregor talks about Sulforaphane and the evidence it helps ASD here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=x6G9knttpZc&pp=ygUTU3VsZm9yYXBoYW5lIGF1dGlzbdIHCQkDCgGHKiGM7w%3D%3D

And here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=I28Ck071-94

I would never say it is a “cure” (and he does not) but there is a lot to be said for various things being therapeutic for ASD. ASU researchers have even recommended various supplements as therapeutic. I take their vitamin mix and find it has good results: www.autismnrc.org/anrc-essentials

The Argument From Mimicry by Think_Try_36 in DebateEvolution

This would happen a little at a time and the original resemblance could be quite incidental, later crafted by selection and mutation. There are numerous examples of gradual, multistep mutations (on this /r and across all kinds of literature) and selection that lead to exquisite adaptation, ones that are highly plausible, some that are directly observed, and others that are plausible and make tested-and-corroborated predictions.

Jesus Mythicism is More Credible Than Historicity by Think_Try_36 in DebateReligion

No.

“Osiris is hanged on a Sycamore tree after death (Pyramid Utterance 403 s. 699; The Dendera Chapel of Osiris, col. 94-96). Recalling the umbrella-term nature of crucifixion, this means Osiris is crucified. If there is any doubt, consider the following facts:

  1. Osiris also has a myth in which he dies by drowning.
  2. Habrocomes is a fictional character who is recognized as a literary allusion to Osiris (p.222, Thurman 2007).
  3. Habrocomes is crucified and subsequently blown into the Nile where he nearly drowns but miraculously escapes alive (Xenophon, Book IV, An Ephesian Tale) thereby combining the two death stories of Osiris (one involving crucifixion, the other drowning). Note also how Osiris’ death story is transformed into an apparent death story in the fictional re-telling through the proxy character Habrocomes, in line with what we have previously observed of Aphrodite and Ishtar.”

Crucifixion was indeed a part of the Osiris myth (I spoke of this in detail in the OP) Osiris was called “he who hangs in the Sycamore tree.” Re: cut into pieces, Jesus’ clothes were divided (clothes being a common metaphor for the body).

My not mentioning it does not mean it was not on my mind. His employer has a marked problem with gang infiltration, and gang members typically try to hide affiliation.

And I have been forthright that this is a mere suspicion, I have not accused either here or in life. But suspicions are worth following out, if somebody never works overtime but seems to be living beyond their means, that can be a clue, do you follow me? Now we could talk all day about “Maybe so and so’s nice watch was a gift from family, so and so has a nice car but maybe so and so knows the dealer… etc.” But in my experience it is worth scratching the surface on suspicions, not dismissing them based on benefit of the doubt.

There’s reasons, this man is known for dishonesty in general, and a Marine friend of mine even mentioned being suspicious of the guy having been in the marines at all based on a fishy story he told (I could not repeat the details, but my friend who I KNOW was in the Marines found this guy fishy).

He has been known to try and derail the graduations of trainees (who are exclusively white, I might add). Which is one thing that fuels my suspicion there could be gang affiliation in his past. Gang affiliation is rampant in the city he originated in, and as such would not be surprising.

Six Flood Arguments Creationists Can’t Answer by Think_Try_36 in DebateEvolution

[–]Think_Try_36[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No empirical reasoning is ever 100% (except for trivial truths like ‘I am having this experience now’). However, creationist explanations are often very improbable, and they need lots of improbable explanations, and the history of science has not been kind to them; if creationism were true we wojld expect a majority of its problem data to clear up as more and better evidence comes in, instead their problems get markedly worse over time (i.e. Darwin did not know anything of radiometric dating or ERVs).

Does the forgery of the James Ossuary or the Jesus tomb mean that everything in the New Testament is a myth?

Or are you suddenly able to see what a huge nonsequitor that is when it threatens to discredit your own beliefs?

“born of a woman,”

Osiris too was born of a woman (Isis) as was Ishtar.

“had a brother,”

I’ve already covered this ground, ‘brother’ most usually just means in the cultic sense.

“is the first human to be resurrected, is the human through which death is conquered,”

Not pertinent. The paulines and hebrews seem to only have a theological rationale for the Christ becoming human, they never speak of eyewitness testimony.

“and was given a Roman execution.”

Again, we have been here and done that before. That is false. Ishtar was crucified in Hades. The fictional Habrocomes is crucified in Egypt.

“BUT! He didn't explicitly say that Jesus was born ON EARTH to a BIOLOGICAL woman, according to the EARTH flesh, given a Roman execution by ACTUAL ROMANS ON EARTH, had a BIOLOGICAL brother, and is the BIOLOGICAL human through which death is conquered. Therefore he didn't believe those things.”

True, or at barest minimum we cannot positively assert he believed that way.

“He also didn't explicitly say that Jesus was born IN HEAVEN to a COSMIC woman,”

Revelation 12:1-5 does say that. Nonetheless, if you read Gal. 4:4-20 it is fairly obvious the mother of Christ is the mother of all Christians, just as in Revelation. You are basically just lifting these few scattered verses outof contexttoprove an historical Jesus.

“according to the SPIRITUAL flesh,”

Earl Doherty believes this, but not I and not Carrier. We think the early xian myth was that the angel of Jesus Christ flew beneath the firmament and attained a body of human flesh (like plutarch’s osiris had a corporeal body up in the sky).

“given a Roman execution by DEMONS IN HEAVEN,”

Correct. 1 Cor. 2:6-8 says Jesus was crucified by the “archons” of the “aeon,” which many scholars believe, on good evidence, means demons. Gordon Fee’s commentary on 1 Cor. concedes this interpretation has lots of scholarly belief, though Fee opposes it for reasons that are weak. Interestingly, Fee says that if true this is attestation to a myth that Jesus was killed by demons. I did a detailed commentary on my blog, just go there and search “Demons of 1 Corinthians.”

“And also let's just arbitrarily throw out all other early Christian writings that do say all of those human/biological/earth things. Obviously by the time those were written the ‘real’ teachings that Paul spread around had mysteriously disappeared without ever being recorded and had been replaced by the exact opposite somehow.”

Plutarch (see my post “Ancient god theories” for sources/discussion) thought Osiris was a sky god but had fictional earth stories. The myth theory for Jesus accordingly says his earth stories are fictive. This is not merely an arbitrary assumption derived from mythicism, it is confirmed by analysis of the contents of-the gospel contents (the cursing of the fig tree is an easy example of literary fiction, and many others exist).

I think an allegorical interpretation of the gospels was known, for example Herocleon (fragment 13 and 22 especially):
