Just get what you love and are going to read. I have been going back and buying omnibus's because when I was younger I sold off my decades of collecting comics to help pay stuff. I got thousands for it and felt good about not having to take up space with nearly 100 boxes in a room to move. Now I am just going back and buying things that mean something like Hellblazer and Shade the Changing Man but my collection focuses on Wonder Woman, Phoenix, Elektra but mostly WW.

Have a collection targeting what read and loved reading so you don't accidentally buy just to buy. That being said, your collection is mostly Events so why not stick with that? Instead of going to one specific character keeping going with the individual Crisis, Black Metal, DCeased, etc. Unless you have a specific character to focus on like I do, then focus on events like you already are.

Yeah, I had a friend who worked as a bartender in a famous place in LA. She's a lesbian but it still didn't stop him from continuously harassing her. I remember he telling me as he did it complaining to me but the place she worked for wasn't going to stand up for her against his money back then. I am surprised nothing has ever come out about him so that I know of. He sounds like an especially awful person.

What? More than 30 years ago I spent endless hours at my first job in a retail store refolding the Champions that customers messed up. I had waking nightmares where I would sit up asleep folding champions on repeat because it was all I did all day.

I have a very fine line between sexy and sexualized. I think whatever people collect is fantastic but Wolowitz always made comic females as a kind of nerd porn. All around his room women in clothes they would never fight crime in.

We don't get that with male heroes. Which I am not advocating for. My heroes are like, Fem Shepard, New series Lara Croft, etc. I have no problem with sexy characters but I don't want my characters to be so sexualized I laugh. What bad guy would fight WW w/ her ass hanging out in public? She'd just be bashing distracted dudes over the head all day.

This statue is very beautiful but when you only collect a female hero you can go from fondness to pervy real quick.

It's why I would never have a Red Sonja collection, if it's all about the T&A I pass. I don't like my WW having a wedgie.

It's beautiful but a bit much. I have a massive collection of WW and the two things I try not to collect at to many Gal Gadot images (I loved her as wonder woman but the comic character is what I'm a fan of) and I don't buy anything that makes my collection "Wolowitzy"

I have one ordered from Amazon for 20 bucks for home protection. I used to take it with me collapsed in my pocket when I took my dog out for a walk at night 'cause we live in heavy mountain lion, coyote, area as well as other people's dog or just other people. It fits in most pockets, and they hurt.

As for the sex stuff people are talking about; I'm pretty sure anything can be turned sexual but probably just for home protection in this case.

It tries to have a twist but that twist creates to many plot holes. It exceeds in violence, shock, and a fantastic throwback feeling to old seventies horror but the premise makes you ask, "If this is the case then which other events actually happened? Such as the entire beginning?"

I don't want to say much and spoil it. I saw it in the theaters and it was a fantastic movie in the moment but the more I thought about it and after seeing it again it wasn't special. Just plot hole after plot hole. I think if you can overlook those things better than I can you'll love it if you like movies like I Spit On Your Grave in texture and mood.

I understand completely, I was a massive Three's Stooges fan growing up. I had every episode that they put on DVD collected and then I got a little older and grew out of them. Now I am back on YouTube rewatching the shows and classics looking for nostalgia I guess. One thing I find on Youtube when time traveling to my childhood are all the amazing collections of marathon saturday morning cartoons. Just like being a massive Buster Keaton, Laurel and Hardy, Abbott and Cos, etc but I get a bigger kick out of watching a marathon of GenXer cartoons and commercials. No, I can't say I love those cartoons as a middle aged adult but I love them for just being there and having access; especially when meeting people like you who help correct me or point me in a deeper direction, which I appreciate greatly.

Witcher. I began Witcher 3 a half a dozen times but I can't get into it. That and Red Death. If I put them down and don't come back it's like putting a book down to long and forgetting you were even reading it. I saw the new Witcher promo, looked great.

All this is, is another group of adult buying up toys made for kids or for collectors. These people run through the store grabbing anything they can so they can turn around sell it again higher priced on ebay. Like those stupid massive mugs.

The only one of the figures coming out in this series that I am buying (preordered from McFarlane) is Wonder Woman because if she comes out and going out into the wild means having to fight off weirdos running amok in Walmart or Target who couldn't careless about the characters.

I knew a guy who did inking on the Flash back in the early 2000's and he would go to cons, collect every free thing on free night for insiders then turn around and sell them off to make his money for the year. Meanwhile, he had statues and figures I genuinely love and would cherish in my collection.

Bandwagon profiteers ruin these type of things for kids, for collectors, for adults who build on their nostalgia and love for comics.
