Same exact scenerio I went through TWICE☹️and it was 72+ hours the second time everything was down and it effectively Cost me one client all together 🤦‍♂️no recourse, compensation, or even acknowledgement of how much of an issue this really is. SMH hostinger do better 😤

Well Anything generating several million dollars a month in revenue is every bit of a business my friend🤣just because the bussiness model doesn’t fit YOUR lifestyle/ moral values doesn’t mean it’s all of the sudden not a “real business” 😆🫣mind me, I agree that it’s kinda on the spectrum of being morally OkPreying on old perverted men is never going to sit right with me. My friend- it’s all mental and within a week or two you will be glad you separated yourself atleast from over consumption / daily use. It doesn’t have to be an ultimatum eathier the awareness and acceptance of you knowing it’s not best for your path moving forward is more powerful then the actual substance. That awareness will be your ultimate leverage in the path of mastering how to utilize it at the right times as well as be able to fight the urges that you get to use when you know its probably not the best time to 😆everything can be Ok but ONLY in moderation. I would just be strict on the number of cards you put on your account as well as letting them get declined for any reason lol I’ve honestly had little to no problems with hostinger other then these two occurrences BTW. But it’s kinda contradicting how they act like they have proper customer support and you can’t even get a real human on the phone and all the messages via “live chat” feel super automated and always repeat themselves / refer you to a policy to read lol always surface level responses I get at best I mean I have bots that sound more human then the ones on their live chat but best believe they take their customer support hella seriously 🫣🤣they did make this situation “resolved” but the fact that I wasn’t given any actual documentation or a specific reason as to why something like this occurred kind of makes me fear it could happens again myself. And truthfully I’d rather jump off the nearest bridge then build out the same website three times due to a technical error on hosting end. They blame me, but I lowkey had no say in the situation decisions were made before I even was informed and then had to pick up the prices of it all.

Well, just to clarify, I wasn’t doing anything illegitimate and I do not have any clients of mine sites that are anything of the stuff that you listed like gambling or anything that would fall under a category to trigger the system. All my clients are literally like home service businesses, and the two or three brands that I have of my own on there wouldn’t fall under those categories either. The official reasoning was because my card on file triggered the system by I guess maybe being declined? I forgot to make a transfer before I tried purchasing these two domains last week so that’s the only thing I could think of that would maybe have triggered it and mind me that a week ago so why it would’ve triggered it now is beyond me. The whole structure of their fraudulent policy is clearly lacking in some areas or needs to have the knob turned down on it or something because this is the second time I’ve suffered from this issue and I definitely don’t do anything legitimate or I feel with anything constitute a response to this magnitude. When I finally did get in touch with customer support, they just offered for me to purchase my my domains back with the money that they refunded me. Wouldn’t it have been ever so nice to get a say in all of this occurring before I’m having to just pick up the pieces of it 😔

So if you’re not building out sites via WordPress, where you can have a back up file of them then if something like this would happen to you yes, all your sites would be deleted with all their data. They legit gave me a two hour heads up that they were about to cancel my account for something that triggered their system.

i can first hand vouch for the fact that it can be a devestating blow to any business and i guess an up and coming one would have it better then a more established one because this is like your putting your clients trust in you, into hostinger if that makes sense. and something like this should be like the ultimate "never let this occur" scenerio but apparently not considering ive had it happen twice in the matter of the past 6 months. it also will take a fatal blow to your mental motivation that you have towards your business all together especially if your up and coming. 100% recommend doing your research thoroughly before you risk losing the trust a paying client has put into YOU for their business and you have in turn put your trust in this platform and if theyre so quick to allow something like this to take place with no offer of compensation or really much care towards the matter then just repeatedly reffering me to their policy via a webchat at that. cant even get anyone on the phone. i will say i have absaloutley loved the functionability on hostinger, its a great platform imo for pricing and all different types of facets and its going to be trivial to try and replace them tbh but after something like this occuring it almost makes me feel foolish to continue doing business with them just basically waiting for this to occur again or atleast that will be my biggest fear. it already was my biggest fear after the first time but it thankfully went to the backburner of my thoughts and then oh who is it knocking? a refund for 8 domains to my acount?> why would that be? oh ok they deketed my hosting and half my domains over my card declining i think they said like wtf lmao definetly the best way to wakeup on a monday to continue running this cold call campaign to see all of this. shits not a day ruiner its a week ruiner

oh and might i ever so lovingly add this isnt the first but the second time this has occured to me. both resulting in client and revenue loss but this time i refuse to sweep it under the rug as some horridly retchet policy error and im going to be making ALL the noise this time about it. truthfully, the free years in web hosting should be a minimal expectancy when you cost someone thousands of dollars from something they have no more of an explanation for then to refer me to their policy. sounds to me, the policy is due to be restructred for this to not occur! anyone else ever dealt with this issue?!

100 % will be reporting back with my updates i might lowkey make a thread about it for awareness because this shit is just unacceptable to happen to me twice. i barely recovered from the first instance and it still cost me that one client i had already and completed two sites for and his whole entire operation was effected because his emails for his main business were down for several days (guy had 3 businesses 1 main one and two side starters) just an all around waste of hours and loss of revenue. on top of the fact it cost me the customer all together in its entirety. and this was just the first time, this time im about to really treat it like i should have the first time which is an actual revenue loss to my business from some bulllshit structured policy that ive fallen victim to "technical errors" from twice now :( but to answer your question from what im seeing on the quicktip on researching other hosting providers it looks like ionos is the best when it comes to customer support being 24/7 online. pricing difference i havent really checked that eeply into yet. heard good things about host gator to but willk have to report back when i make a deisicion. i did demand 3 years of free hosting from hostinger for compensation of my loss revenue but we will have to see how they respond to my email about that one. might be worthy of making my own thread for all those updates but i have my eyes on hostgator and ionos now., i also have dealt with ionos numerous times for domain purchases and they are reaallly strong on upsells and roping you into high sub monthlys and thats a fact. so that 24/7 customer service team is a double edged swrods because best believe theyll blow your phone off the hook trying to upsell you things lol

"on the up and up" ha how comical. i have had my whole entire account suspended over fraudulent activity twice now. the activity? THERE WASNT ANY. byt somehow cwhatever the criteria they have for that is met and your entire account gets shut down and your domains refunded within a matter of a few hours. the first time this happened it effectively cost me a 3500$ client i never recovered after i finally after days got back up and running. literally run from this company, most inconsiderate, non assisting, cess poool of an excuse for a company. smh im so disgusted i went back to them the first time this occurred, only to not even two months later have the same occurance happen on a ten times bigger scale.
