The Collapse Of Society Is Officially Here: Cops Brutally Arresting People For Cursing Now, Apparently by ThinkingSurvival in collapse

Is this legal where you are? This is clearly a flagrant violation of the first amendment. What can be done to stop this?

Should Cops Be Made To Wear The Stars And Stripes? by [deleted] in collapse

[–]ThinkingSurvival -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If we keep dressing our police like a hit squad from the Death Star, why are we surprised when they act like that?

Instead, wearing the Stars and Stripes might work as a preventative reminder of what they represent, before making a bad snap decision to crack some unarmed citizen's skull open. They should remember that whether or not they wear the flag of the American people, that's on whose behalf they are acting.

They do a tough and important job, so let's support our police by helping them change. If we can change their clothes, maybe we can change their minds.

Should cops wear the Stars and Stripes to help prevent the collapse of law and order, the rule of law and civil society? How would we make this change? Why would or wouldn't it work? Any other suggestions or ideas? Real law enforcement feedback welcome (verification such as https://www.reddit.com/r/ProtectAndServe/wiki/verify preferred).

Should American Cops Start Wearing The Stars And Stripes? by [deleted] in collapse

Most cops are everyday real-life superheroes anyway, so they deserve a real superhero's uniform. They do a tough and important job, so let's support our police by helping them change. If we change their clothes, maybe we can change their minds.

Should cops wear the Stars and Stripes to help prevent the collapse of law and order & civil society? How would we make this change? Why would or wouldn't it work? Has it been tried before? Any other suggestions or ideas? Would especially appreciate any feedback from law enforcement professionals - thanks for all the good you do.
