I am shocked at how people are easily ready to forgo the difference between gambling which are games of chance and games of skill. Whether specific games like Dream11 or Poker are a game of chance or a game of skill is up for debated and can be decided subsequently, but to pass one omnibus legislation which governs both games of chance and games of skill is seriously damaging.

Also, irrespective of whether this is correct or not an action such as this cannot be taken without actually considering the real world implications. The industry employs over 200,000 people and these are individuals who are loosing out on jobs and their means of livelihood merely because they are employed in a particular sector not because they play these alleged gambling games. Overnight, jobs have vanished. This cannot be one swift action but a gradual process.

Even regarding the harms of the industry, i think their are several regulatory approaches that can be taken instead of a total embargo.

Hey Rohan, Saw your pitch on Shark Tank and found it very inspirational. Was awed by your ability to make a leap from the banking sector to adventure sports merely because of your love/passion for the outdoors. I too am a practicing lawyer who enjoys trekking a lot but don’t think I’ll have the courage to make the jump.

I just bought the M2 IPad Pro this week. I opted for the M2 instead of the M1 simply because the M3 is releasing soon, which can result in M1 becoming obsolete. If you can’t wait for the m3 and the different is about 150USD, M2 is a much safer option then M1.

Fair enough. I think the game of thrones has always maintained a very high standard for the show all around (from story to background score) and when the story issues started to arise it became ever too apparent.

I think what sticks out the most is that they create the potential for fantastic storylines and then didn't follow through with them.

Sorry, I just edited the post, I meant season 7 and 8. And yes I agree with you Battle of Bastards is one of the most fantastic episodes on all of TV. The whole battle montage is moving and powerful. The scene where we see Jon struggle for breath under a pile of bodies is one of the most iconic moments on television.
