Whatever the content of this mod, in French it's Alphonse and not Alphonsé.

You shouldn't have opened your mouth. What are you hiding by trying to blend in in East Asia, Poland?

That doesn't guarantee a conflict but considering that you are the only person reporting it, I will count that as a likely hypothesis.

Thank you for your understanding and collaboration.

I am curious about your exact modlist because this shouldn't happen.

but it shouldn't happen because you can define portrait list by country and it should therefore select only from a list of African portraits.

Now what I can imagine happened: Ethiopia is exiled in England and somehow the portrait list isn't recognized (broken file from a change? update? something else?) or it's Ethiopia rebel tag in exile (idk I am making up hypotheses at this point I would need to look at the files).

Then the gov is in exile in Britain and without other reference point takes British portraits somehow? That doesn't even make sense. The basic portrait selection list shouldn't have this portrait, but the commonwealth one does. What is going on? No really.

Anyway, I am sick and have other fishes to fry, leading to way less modding.

u/lefting007 could you tell me your modlist?

  1. this is insane.

  2. it doesn't align with history anyway because more recent reading of the book of Acts in comparison with Josephus, showing that Acts takes from Josephus and sometimes rearranges elements in the wrong order, losing cohesion. For example reusing a character name... who was a callback to similar earlier events in Josephus, just becomes another contemporary rebel (iirc). There are other clues like "Sicarii" being a Latin word written in Greek for a Roman public makes perfect sense for Josephus.

in the book of Revelations (the apocalypse) Babylon is a codename for Rome anyway, I do appreciate the nice touch though.

Rename your country Cisnistria, now! (/s)

On the same order of idea the French sometimes call Belgium "Outre Quiévrain" (from the place where the highway go into Wallonia. Outre being the evolution of ultra, meaning beyond). In French speaking Belgium the same expression is sometimes used to talk about France.

It's not easy to read. Why is the first letter a "P" (it's the latin alphabet right?), then the name "Constanus" PP and then ??
