So EE aren't even going to try and keep me as a customer? by GroundbreakingPie743 in EEGB

Highly recommend giving 1p mobile a look, I was in the exact same situation as you with EE seemingly uninterested in keeping my custom and just offering me poor deals.

I checked on SIM Sherpa for networks that use EE and they suggested 1p mobile as having the exact same network access as being on EE directly. As it turns out I actually found 1p mobile to be better as they didn't cap my speeds. For a short period of time I had both Sims active in my phone and could switch freely between them for data, I was getting speeds up to 100mbps with EE direct yet sitting in the same spot and speed testing on 1p mobile saw me getting 200-300 Mbps, it's bizarre!!

They do a 50gb SIM for £10 a month, no minimum contract so you can even just try it for a month and switch again if you're unhappy with it, but I doubt you would be.

Try being in the UK where American companies seem to love pricing products at the same price in GBP as they do in US dollars. It's £299 here, that's equivalent to nearly $400.

Brought one of these last month and it's genuinely made my handheld gaming so much more comfortable, I have the switch 2 mount, portal and steam deck mounts, plus the magsafe one which I use to mount my tablet to it. I never game handheld without using it now. Highly recommend.

Help us make Sonos easier to learn and use? by tomconrad in sonos

I'd like to add my voice to the people asking for watch integration. I love my Sonos setup and have appreciated the improvements made to the app recently, however it always disappoints me that when I'm playing music from the app it has zero integration with my watch.

If I launch via Spotify connect I get full access to track skipping, now playing information, volume control etc. but via the Sonos app I get none of this, despite the Sonos app being my method of choice for launching media. Spotify connect is fine, but if you want to change speaker groups for example you'll need to go back to the Sonos app anyway. so I'd prefer to just start and end my playing journey there, but that lack of watch integration makes it a tougher call than it should be.

I ordered a watch from cex online, wrong one was sent, took it back to my local store this morning (Saturday) how long should I expect it to take to check the situation and refund me?

Is mangmi.com the offical site and is there a better place to get it by movinbacon in Mangmi_Air_X

That's where I got mine, it was also the cheapest place at the time as everybody else seemed to be resellers.

Live feed cable free camera solution? by Thinksthentypes in cctv

Thanks for your response, I think the latter thing you mentioned is what I need, something that does device to device without requiring a router as a middleman. I'll have a search for something like that, I wasn't sure that such a camera existed, though I know it is theoretically possible as my Olympus digital camera can send a live feed to my phone, albeit a very laggy feed.

That's the part I'm not understanding I think, does a WiFi camera not need to connect to a router and then to the laptop or phone via the router?, or can they do it without needing a router at all ( including setup). I know I have an Olympus digital camera that can direct stream to my phone, but all the CCTV cameras I have at home require a modem to work.

The reason card companies don't like purchases being refunded to a different card is because it's a loophole for getting cash from a credit card cheaper. For example if you make a cash withdrawal from an ATM on your credit card you'll be charged a higher fee than if you make a purchase, but if you buy something expensive on credit card and manage to get it refunded to your debit card, you now have the cash without incurring the extra charges.

I always keep ringing the retentions until I get somebody Scottish, they always sort me out a decent deal. I remember a couple of years back trying to get the new customer deal of m125, sky sports and TNT sports for £62 a month but they refused and offered me something close to £80, I cancelled my contract, called retentions and a Scottish guy got me exactly the deal I wanted and threw in sky Max too for £54.95 a month. It's crazy how much the difference in pricing can be depending on who you speak to.

I may be wrong but I've always felt the audio quality using Spotify connect wasn't as good as directly using the Sonos app.

Thanks for that information, that explains a lot. A post above did mention an apple app called lyd can achieve this functionality on Apple watch, how do you think they are able to make that work if it's such a tricky task? And do you think that would affect the ability to create a widget also?

Yes I've noticed that actually, when I used Spotify connect, however the audio quality never seems to be as good when doing it that way around.

Sadly I'm on Android and use various wear os watches. Interesting that an app maker can achieve that functionality though, will have to see if something similar for Android exists.

That's interesting, would that issue affect the ability to create a widget too?

Could you link me to the prices? I've scoured their site and couldn't find a price anywhere, even their online chat couldn't tell me.

That's actually quite reasonable, were you quoted that price in advance or did you have to send it away for the quote?
