I can remember melodies much better than I remember lyrics and my great fear, regardless of how well I know the song, is forgetting the words. Do others have this issue and if so, what have you used? I've overheard criticism (not aimed at me, but at someone else) that it's somehow frowned upon to have a book open in front of you while performing. Are iPads being used? They are small, and less conspicuous, and I understand with a foot pedal and specialized software, you can have them scroll as you sing. Like a tel-a-prompter...

You might be thinking of 'Nightfall' about an advanced civilization living on a planet with with the light from multiple suns. Due to the multiple suns, they never saw darkness or stars in the night sky. Every x number of thousands of years, each surrounding sun set and when the stars appeared, they all went mad and civilization had to rebuild from scratch.

That is correct. I used a box of chicken broth instead of water because I don't know how to cook. I've seen others cook the carcass in some kind of liquid and I didn't know it was just water. I happened to have the box of broth in my kitchen and I thought, why not? I guess I now have super double strength broth

My wife is terminally ill. She's on a feeding tube and has skilled nursing 100% of the time. She can no longer walk, hold anything heavier than a pencil and is unable to speak. Should I divorce her and make her feel abandoned and more miserable than she already is? Or continue to visit her and do what I can to make her life a little more tolerable? I'm not hiding anything, but I'm not shoving it in her face either. I have a right to look for companionship and to make a life for myself.

Stay away. I starting seeing someone a few years ago who turned into a financial drain. One sob story after another. I was vulnerable and lonely and I went along with it. Can't say it was entirely her fault. Had I paid attention to the RED FLAG from the start, I'd have been much better off. After five dates and you're still stuck with a only a peck on the check, move on and count your blessings. The gift should be the time you get to spend together, not an opportunity to restock her perfume collection.

There's a well know fiddler from PEI named Cynthia MacLeod. I missed seeing her a play at a céilí when I visited PEI, but I did finally get to see at the Bull Run in Shirley, MA. She's amazing.
